SIX Receives Best Show Award 2008
November 26, 2008
Monday, November 17th proved to be an exciting day at The Hughes Brothers Theater. A large crowd was seated to watch the fantastic performance of the dynamic group SIX at 2:00pm.
Kevin, Barry, Lynn, Jak, Owen, and Curtis were in top form. The first half of the show was the regular performance that has been done throughout the season. The second half was all Christmas music. The audience was treated to the beautiful tight harmonies (who needs instruments?!), interaction between the brothers (and, at times, with members of the audience), comedy, and just superb entertainment.
During intermission, SIX was shown just how important they are to the fans. That was when Chad Ray, of BransonCritic.com was invited up on stage and presented The 2008 Best Show Award to the SIX Knudsen brothers. Chad explained to the audience what BransonCritic is all about and told how the various entertainers are decided upon each year to receive awards. He then read some select quotes from just a few of the fans who had sent in reviews.

THE RANKIN BROTHERS ROCK!
September 10, 2008
Recently a group of friends and I attended the Rankin Brothers show. To be perfectly honest, I was practically forced into the situation. I wasn't really feeling up to going out and I had a pre-conceived notion that the brothers would be your mediocre, run-of-the-mill, take 'em or leave 'em type of entertainers. I could not have been more wrong!
From the onset, the Rankin Brothers dominated your attention. They perform a variety of music from the 50's to the 90's...all great selections, I might add. Most shows have a gimmick...none here; these boys are pure entertainment. Once the show started, I got started (as did many other members of the audience). These were songs that I, as well as every other baby boomer, hold dear to the heart...songs we grew up with... memories... nostalgia...and all done to perfection. We were not only singing along...we were moving and yes, even dancing in the aisles. The entire audience (which included all ages) appeared to really be getting into the music.

THE COMETS
July 30, 2008
Fifty-some odd years ago, a phenomena hit our atmosphere so strong that the face of our music, our culture-our very world was changed forever. This phenomenon was a group of young men who formed a group and called themselves The Comets. Guess what, folks? They are still going strong-rocking and rolling at Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater. And they are every bit as impressive as their collective name implies.
I’m ashamed to admit that I hadn’t made it to see this legendary group of performers before now. But, we got an opportunity to go see the Diamond Dave Somerville and The Comets show and latched onto it!
