Description:

Join Billy Bob, Billy Joe, and Billy Billee as they mix NASCAR with Beethoven, lite beer with Puccini and even kick up a little dust with Ave Maria Dixie! You'll travel with our 3 singing cousins from their modest beginnings in Paris, Texas, where they discover that belting out a high C causes pigs to move faster and bar brawlers to scatter; all the way to their triumphant debut at New York's famous Carnegie Hall. It’s down home laughs with big city music and great entertainment for the entire family.

The Branson shows will kick-off the national tour of 3 Redneck Tenors that will include three weeks of shows in Branson (the live entertainment capital of the world!). The national tour will cover the four corners of the country with over 80 shows over the next four months.

Written and directed by opera-veteran Matthew Lord with music arranged by award-winning composer (and Phoenix resident) Craig Bohmler, 3 Redneck Tenors features a cast of veteran Broadway and opera stars including Lord Blake Davidson, Alex Bumpas and Dinny McGuire is the Colonel.

We went to the 3 Redneck Tenors show at the Mansion not knowing what really to expect.

We've been coming to Branson for years and the shows tend to be very similar. 3 Redneck Tenors was really different. The singers had the most amazing voices I've ever heard and the music was a good variety of classics, some country, some pop and a few others I'm not ever sure what they are. In addition to their great musical abilities, they are really hilarious and the show has a funny story line about 3 cousins discovered by a country agent. They even do a fabulous mini-concert at the end of the show in full tuxedos.

Definitely the best show in Branson right now and you can't go wrong with this one.

The name doesn't do these guys justice. They absolutely blew my mind! They did every type of music you could imagine, and they did it better than I ever would have expected!! Check your preconceived notions at the door, and be prepared to have a rockin' good time!

After seeing them I am now a true fan. It was one of the few shows in Branson that I have seen more than once and will continue to support whenever I have the chance. I have told a lot of people about their upcoming Christmas show at Music City Centre, as well as their road shows if they're not able to see them in Branson.

Their brand of comedy will stick with you and you'll find yourself unknowingly using it. The subtleties may be missed by those thinking that this would be the typical Branson slapstick hillbilly humor.

Their music was tons more enjoyable than most other shows I've seen. It's obvious that they truly love what they do! Their harmonies were tight and full, the variety of songs was vast, and the layout of the show was so fast paced and fun, it was over before I realized it! They do everything from one end of the spectrum to the other! I knew almost all of the songs and found myself singing along with most of them. Honestly, I'll never forget their rendition of Debbie Boone's "You Light Up My Life"! As far as their operatic skills, although I am not at all versed in opera, the emotion they conveyed on "Nessun Dorma" moved me to tears.

These guys have some of the strongest voices you will ever hear, anywhere! They're all seasoned veterans of the stage, one a member of the prestigious Julliard Opera Center as well as the Metropolitan Opera Center, others have performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and two have been ringmasters for some highly acclaimed circuses...

They are all true gentlemen who appreciate and value all the people in their audiences. They especially appreciate the men and women who allow us to have the freedom to live in a country where we can decide what we enjoy as individuals. They support us, whether we support them or not.

Plain and simple, The 3 Redneck Tenors deserve a special award to show them how special they are to Branson!! I certainly hope they will return in 2011 for a full run, as this is the exact type of show that Branson needs!!!

We saw billboards and various ads about "The Red Neck Tenors" but never gave them a second thought since they looked very much like some of our kinfolk in Louisiana!!

We had not seen them on "America's Got Talent" so we knew very little about them. We had gone to see "The Liverpool Legends", who we adore, and while there a lady highly recommended that we go see the Tenors. They were there that night seeing the Legends and were so very nice.

We decided that night we would go before they left town. We went on the 10th of August and was absolutely blown away. I sat there for ten minutes with my mouth open in awe of what I was hearing! I looked around and realized that there were 499 other people with their mouth open too!! What a treat they were!!! They are better than a Banana Anna at Andy's!!!!

I fell in love with all four of the guys but can tell you that the short blonde got my heart!!!

Don't let the name fool ya. These guys absolutely blew me out of the water! They do every type of music you can imagine, and they do it better than you'd ever expect!! Don't have any expectations when you go see them, JUST GO! Check your preconceived notions at the door, and be prepared to have a good time.

After seeing them, I can best describe their comedy as "Jeff Foxworthy for intelligent people". (Not saying anything bad about Jeff) I also will admit that I have seen it a couple times, and probably will again before they leave Branson on Sunday.

You don't have to see it from the beginning, but it will make a little more sense if you do. My first reaction was from seeing a very limited amount of the show, as well as not knowing there was a storyline behind it. I loved their music but didn't quite put everything together. When I saw it the second time, I saw it all. That's when I got it!

Their brand of comedy is not the least bit degrading to anyone, some of it so smooth that you might actually miss it! Most of it will stick with you and you'll find yourself unknowingly using it. The subtleties may be missed by those thinking that this would be the typical slapstick hillbilly humor. There is some, but it's so much more!

As for their music, it was tons more enjoyable than most other shows I've seen. They truly love what they do, and you can tell. Their harmonies were tight and full, the variety of songs was vast, and the layout of the show was fast paced and fun! I was afraid it was going to be boring but I was WRONG! (Yes, I admitted it... in public... I was wrong!) They do everything from one end of the spectrum to the other! I knew almost all of the songs and much to the chagrin of friends with me, found myself singing along with most of them. Although I am not at all versed in opera, the emotion they conveyed moved me to tears.

These gentlemen all have some of the strongest voices you will hear anywhere! They're all veterans of the stage, one a member of the prestigious Julliard Opera Center as well as the Metropolitan Opera Center, others have performed with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and two have been ringmasters for some highly acclaimed circuses... Talk about varied careers!

They're all true gentlemen who appreciate and value all the people in their audiences. They especially appreciate the men and women who allow us to have the freedom to live in a country where we can decide what we enjoy as individuals. They support us, whether we support them or not.

I am proud to admit that I now own their CD, and if you were to start up my truck, you'd hear "Viva Last Vegas" blasting from the speakers!

I personally think they deserve their own full 2 hour show on the Strip! Hey, Timothy Haygood... Are you going to let these guys slip through your fingers?!?!

They end their run at the Oak Ridge Boys Theater this coming Sunday night. As of right now, I have not heard if - or when - they may be returning to Branson. I highly suggest that you make time to see them before they leave. Plain and simple, this is the type of show that Branson needs.
