TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT – EAGLES TRIBUTE

August 18, 2009

Take it to the Limit is an incredible show with powerful harmonies, strong solo vocals, and superior musicianship.  The entire show is a tribute to Eagles music that will amaze you even if you are not necessarily an Eagles fan.  The talent on stage is captivating.  This is a perfect show for those who want to see something other than country, and because the Eagles did many crossover songs on the country charts, country music fans will enjoy this show as well.  Regardless of your genre preference, watching these talented artists, as they precisely project the Eagles sound and enthusiasm for their audience makes for a totally enjoyable afternoon.

Larry Holiday is Joe Walsh, reincarnated.  Greg Morton gets sounds from his guitar that are absolutely incredible - if you didn’t see it you wouldn’t believe it.  Jon Sousan gives new meaning as you watch him perform, “Desperado.”  He performs the essence of the lyrics and melody but his feelings expressed in timing and gestures are like he is telling a story.  Scott Lancaster performs the Glenn Frey songs as well as playing a mean bass and acoustic guitar.  Larry, Greg, Jon, and Scott harmonize in a way that is convincingly Eagles.  Close your eyes and you’ll believe you are at an Eagles concert.

Cody Titus on keyboards and TAZ on drums round out the band and give body to the music experience.  The sound throughout the show is perfectly balanced for each instrument in the six-member cast.  From the audience you can hear the total Eagles sound and still single out each instrument.  Every song performed in this show is done with everyone giving 100%.  There is minimal conversation and maximum music.

Take it to the Limit- Eagles Tribute
God and Country Theatre

Two people that attended this concert with us had seen The Eagles in concert in Las Vegas. They weren't expecting much but went anyway.

They were VERY surprised that this band was EVERY BIT as good as the Eagles!!

They had each and every Eagles song exactly as the Eagles do it. Every nuance was perfect. We were so glad that we went to see this show. I wish that some of the venues in upstate New York would book this band. They would draw quite a crowd here.

We met the members after the show and they were personable and friendly and good guys.

We can't praise them enough for all the enjoyment they afforded us at their show.

"Take it to the Limit" is for all Eagles die hard fans.

The group sounds so much like the real Eagles band that if you closed your eyes you would believe you are at an actual Eagles concert. This is by far the best show in Branson to date. More people need to go see such a dedicated group of men who love the Eagles as much as we do. You can tell they like their job by the enthusiasm and detail they put into each song of their playlist for the evening.

Everyone that goes to Branson should put this show on their playlist of "must see" shows.

It was money well spent!

Without question, “ Take It To The Limit”, is our favorite show in Branson.

My husband and I have always made an effort to get to Branson once a year, but since we discovered this band, we try to get there twice a year, at least. I must say, we have always enjoyed every show we’ve ever seen in Branson. But “ Take It To The Limit ” is exceptional.

They would be “ Head Liners”, in any venue.

Branson is lucky to have them.

Their CD is never out of our car, and we know every song by heart.
We Love “Take It To The Limit”.

Eagles Tribute

This is definitely the best show in Branson.

They do a lot of Eagles, but they are not just like the eagles. THEY ARE BETTER  (sorry about that Henley) I am a big Eagles fan and took my daughter and her friend. We were all dancing. IT WAS GREAT. They will be back next year and we will go more often. I am telling everyone I know about their show. We also liked the Clay Cooper show, it was excellent, but we are still overwhelmed by the performance the Eagle Tribute show. You would see a show like this in Las Vegas, and to think you have this down in Branson. I wish them the best of luck, and hope they will stay here for a while.

GO EAGLE TRIBUTE YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!

We visit Branson at least once a year and sometimes twice, and see several different shows each time, we think the show 'Take It To The Limit' is the best show in town. We saw this show 2 years ago and thought it was great, but when we saw it last week we thought it was even better. This show brings back so many good memories. Come to the show set back close your eyes and when this group opens you will swear you are at a Live Eagles Consert,I'm telling you this show rocks! We will see it every time we come back to Branson, we just can't get enough of this group. This show costless then many of the other shows in town which makes it a little easier on the pocket book. If you are only here for a couple of days the 2PM. showing a great time, you can get in, lets say, a show at 10 am., the Eagles Tribute at 2 pm. and another show a 8pm. We have never seen a bad show in Branson just some better than others and we have coming to Branson for over 30 yrs.. Thanks To God and Country Theater for booking the show and for the group, 'Take It To The Limit' for such a great show. Yours Truly, A Fan of Branson.

"Take It To The Limit" is a very complimentary Tribute show, representing the "Eagles" with pride and expertise. All of the members of the group are accomplished musicians and vocalists, and their new 2008/2009 line-up is the best combination of performers they have ever had! Jon Susanne, as the lead singer, and "Don Henley" of the group, adds energy and professionalism to an already great show, and the strong vocals and steady bass rhythmn of new member, Scott Lancaster, as "Glenn Frey", rounds out their harmonic performance. Add Branson favorites, Larry "The Dr." Holiday, on guitar, doing the perfect "Joe Walsh", Greg Morton, playing slide guitar, doing the "Timothy B. Schmit" parts, and Cody Titus, on keyboards and vocals, and you have the perfect 5 part harmony. "TAZ", the Monster drummer, holds it all together with his double bass percussion and is a pleasure to watch perform, as well!

They perform Thursday thru Monday at the "God and Country Theatre", which has the best seats in town! Wide, rocking seats, with cupholders make dancing in your seat even more fun! That is, If you can stay in your seat while listening to such familiar tunes of the Eagles! They play all the hits, from "Take It Easy", "Tequila Sunrise" and "One of These Nights" to "Witchy Woman" and "Life In The Fast Lane", and of course, "Hotel California", and do it so well that some say, if you close your eyes, you would think you were hearing the "real" Eagles!

Their show is in a concert format and they don't have a comediene, but the music is so good, you won't miss it at all! They honor our military, veterans, police, fire and emergency service personel with a heart wrenching version of "Hole in the World", written by the Eagles, in Memory of 9-11.

I LOVE attending this show, because it entertains people of all ages and walks of life. Everyone really seems to enjoy the music and trip down memory lane, and everyone is on their feet at the end of the show! I plan to go again and again, as they have area appreciation, all year long, for $10.00 per ticket.

I think Scott Lancaster should be nominated for Musician and Vocalist of the year. He also performs in the Branson Brothers Show, playing bass and is becoming known as "The Ramblin' Man", as he performs it in their show. He is the bass player for Bucky Heard's late night project, "The Horn Dawgs" and is the lead singer for "Billy Don Scott" and "The Brass Addicts". Scott has been performing with his family, singing and performing gospel music, his entire life and is definetly worthy of such an honor.

I highly recommend this show and encourage everyone to catch any of the shows that Scott or his constituants perform in. You won't be dissappointed!
