New South Gospel
Grand Country Music Hall
New South Gospel is a 3 pm show at Grand Country
Music Hall. The show is only on Thursday afternoons. The performers
are New South Quartet, Jamie Haage, Jackie Brown, and the Grand
Band featuring Tracey Heaston. The theater is intimate and well
suited for a good old gospel show.
New South is an awesome quartet that deserves
all the accolades that they have received and should continue
to receive. Trey Wilson is the lead singer, Jason Robinson sings
tenor, Jason Pritchett sings baritone, and Mark McCaulley is
the bass singer. What an exceptional quartet. Each is an excellent
singer in his own right, but together the sound is synergistic!
I would recommend this show for anyone that loves
good old southern gospel music. For two hours we were entertained,
moved, blessed, and inspired by the cast.
Favorite song in the show is "The Lighthouse"
done by New South Quartet, but that is a hard pick as all the
songs are wonderful. Jamie is great as Jim Dandy - both comedic
and singing, Jackie Brown never ceases to amaze, Tracey Heaston
is astounding - never have I seen someone play the piano like
he does, and the Grand Band is the perfect support for the show.
You can tell that all the performers enjoy singing/playing gospel
music.
If you are going to be in Branson on a Thursday
afternoon you should make sure that you have New South Gospel
on your must see list. You won't be disappointed.

New South Gospel
Grand Country Music Hall
This was by far the best show I have seen in Branson.
Jim Dandy was so funny along with Mike Patrick.
Todd Bradshaw was awesome as well. New South took the show for
me. Such wonderful talent with them four men. Trey's voice is
just breath taking, Mark can really get that bass.
My favorite part was the YMCA. The show kept us
laughing all night long even when we got back to our room the
kids were talking about how great it was and wanted to go back
and see it again. The music was great, there was never a dull
moment.
I love the ending on the tribute to the vets.
It made me cry.
MUST see show in Branson a winner all the way
around!
