Fans’ Choice Award Best Show and Entertainers of
the Year 2009 - SIX
October 24, 2009, 8:00 PM
A 12-member BransonCritic Awards team attended
the sold out SIX show on Saturday night for the presentation
of the 2009 Best Show and Entertainers of the Year awards.
At the end of the intermission, Chad Ray, Director of Operations,
was invited to the stage to join the six Knudsen brothers; Barry,
Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen, and Curtis. Chad gave a brief
background of Branson Critic Online Magazine and then read some
quotes from fans of the show, including:
Diane from Missouri:
“SIX is the choice above all others for Best Show.
Whether you see it once or 50 times, it is still the most energetic,
entertaining show we have seen. The brothers are perfectionists,
and have phenomenal skills both vocally and with their ‘instrument
ability.’ While there are many great shows (in Branson),
if you only had time for one - SIX is the best!”
Monday, November 17th proved to be an exciting
day at The Hughes Brothers Theater. A large crowd
was seated to watch the fantastic performance of the dynamic
group SIX at 2:00pm.
Kevin, Barry, Lynn, Jak, Owen, and Curtis were
in top form. The first half of the show was the regular
performance that has been done throughout the season.
The second half was all Christmas music. The audience
was treated to the beautiful tight harmonies (who needs instruments?!),
interaction between the brothers (and, at times, with members
of the audience), comedy, and just superb entertainment.
During intermission, SIX was shown just how important
they are to the fans. That was when Chad Ray, of BransonCritic.com
was invited up on stage and presented The 2008 Best Show Award
to the SIX Knudsen brothers. Chad explained to the audience
what BransonCritic is all about and told how the various entertainers
are decided upon each year to receive awards. He then
read some select quotes from just a few of the fans who had
sent in reviews.

SIX....WOW!! Each year I think there is no way
they can get better and...bam...it happens! This year was no
exception.
For those of you who have never seen SIX....this
is what you are missing. The best and most unique vocal group
in Branson; comedy that keeps you laughing for days/weeks; beautiful
and comfortable theater; most gracious and friendly performers
with their fans; and after the show, you have new friends. You
all must see SIX (Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen, Curtis) and
soon, you will be a SIX addict too!

SIX has to be THE best show in Branson, or anywhere
else for that matter! These boys are the most talented group
that my husband and I have ever seen. The show will make you
laugh, the show will make you cry, but in the end, you too will
agree that this IS the show to see!
I happen to work at the Branson Landing in one
of the stores there, and ask guests all day long if this is
their first trip to Branson, what activities are they doing
while they are here, and if they are seeing any shows. I ALWAYS
recommend that if they do not take the time to see SIX this
time around, they will have a great excuse to come back!

This is the most amazing show in Branson. There
has never been a show in Branson to compare to it. The SIX guys
are very professional they have a show that rivals any show
in New York or Las Vegas. They have beautiful vocals, harmonies,
the dance routines, and the comedy that is superb, but then
to top it all off they create every instrument with their vocals.
They create a trumpet sound, a guitar, a bass, and a drum that
i dare you to put up against any real instrument with your eyes
closed and be able to tell the difference. To see this show
and is only to be amazed by the Best of Branson or anywhere
else for that matter.

I come to Branson several times a year. I saw the show
SIX during their first season. Twice. The men absolutely
blow you away. During a brief beginning of the first show
I saw of SIX, I thought Nice but Probably Just Another Group
Of Good Singers. Then I was totally taken aback when the
true nature of their performance began. A 0-60 whiplash
in two seconds. From Probably Pretty Good expectations
to Stunning. After that initial two seconds, there was
no doubt of the quality and class of performance that was to
come. Each time I come back to Branson, I have always
made it a point to see SIX. It is the music I come to
hear; the appropriate constant energy, intensity and diversity
that Six provide in their show makes any song they sing a thing
of beauty.

The June trip was for a celebration of our fortieth anniversary.
I have seen SIX perform on about six other occasions with other
family members but it was my husband's first time. He
loves music and can sometimes be quite critical of groups that
are too silly or just not good so I was a little apprehensive
as to what he would think. We had great seats down front
and I was so excited for the show to begin. It did with
a bang as usual. Immediately I could tell that my husband
was going to love it!! It was funny, fast pace, great
dancing and of course the vocals were out of this world.
The music selections were exactly the type of music we love
to listen to and performed perfectly. They sing one song
and you think you have a favorite and then another one starts
and it's "of my gosh, this one is better still" all
the way through the show. There is never anything that
you wouldn't want your children or grand kids to see either.
This is one show that is worth every penny and more!!
I can't imagine ever taking a trip to Branson and not seeing
these guys!!!!

OMG!!! I think SIX should be voted BEST SHOW OF
THE YEAR again in Branson. They are funny, they are loving,
they sing excellent, they have awesome brochures, they have
so many people come to their show, the point is they are the
best show in America. I LOVED them so much, I seen them twice
in one week and would not stop talking about their fantastic
show. I even bought a shirt and have a signed brochure in my
locker. You have to vote SIX the BEST SHOW OF THE YEAR, you
have already done it, so you should do it again. I LOVE SIX.

The Six Show was audience friendly. I came alone to see
the show and I felt very happy and content and loved every minute
of it and wanted more. It was fast pace, heartwarming
and had hilarious comedy. I was not looking forward to
going by myself but I had the greatest time. The harmony
and music arrangements were awesome. I bought 3 of their
CD's and have played them many times remembering the wonderful
performance and great time I had watching the Six Show.
I have told many friends about them. One of my friends
is going to Branson and plans on seeing The Six Show for themselves
after my raving about them. The six brothers have incredible
energy, personality and their interaction with the audience
was impressive. I would go back to see them tomorrow if I could.
I just can't say enough about how much I enjoyed The Six Show.
I am a fan forever. I cannot wait to get their DVD when
it comes available.

A Family show operated by a family...The wives
and children sell and collect tickets, usher you to your seat,
and sell concessions. Everyone is involved. What a great
family and a model for all of us to follow.
Now for the show. It was great and I still have
trouble believing that they did not have any instrumental music.
All was done the old fashion way, music from the soul by way
of the mouth.
I have recommended this show to many people who
are coming that way. In fact my sister from Virginia and
my brother from Kentucky are on their way there with their spouses
this month. My recommendation of SIX is one of the reasons
they are coming. In case you know him personally, give my regards
to Cliff Brashler, my college basketball teammate of 51 years

what it is today.

These young men have the BEST show in Branson
since we lost Delene. The first time we heard these fellows
was in July,5, 1986 in Salt Lake City. They were in the International
Finals for Barbershop Quartets. As you can imagine, they were
quite young, however, their sound was very good and this was
just the beginning of their journey. We did not see them in
Las Vegas, but we have friends who did and they said that they
were very good. We hope they will have a long run in Branson
and we will see them again soon.. We have all of their CDs and
we have ordered the DVD that they will release soon. We have
traveled with Barbershop Quartets for over 40 years, and we
can tell you that these young men have a very, very unique style
of singing. May they go on forever!!!

I own a time share in Branson and have been to
most of the shows at least once. Branson has many quality
shows and several I will go see again. The group, Six,
is at the top of that list. This family puts on a great
show. Further, they are just good people. Each of
the performers interact with the audience before, during intermission
and after the show. They do the normal autographing and
mugging for pictures, but they are some of the most approachable
individuals you'll ever meet. They are genuinely interested
in their fans and go out of their way to be accommodating.
Their music is absolutely outstanding. It is amazing what
they do a capella. It is hard to believe that they do
not have a backup band for many of their numbers. Each
of the group has a unique singing style and their range is fantastic.
They offer a well-rounded variety to their music so there is
something for everyone. Some of the old commercial jingles
or one-liners come to mind for recommending this show like:
"Try it, you'll like it," or "Neighbor, how long
has it been since you've been to see SIX (modification intended)?
Well, that's too long!"

I want to start out by saying that, my daughter
and I almost did not go to the SIX show, it was the last night
of our trip and we were exhausted. At the last moment we decided
to go. That night was the best time I had the whole trip. SIX
is an outstanding group. They were so entertaining to watch
and listen to. I haven`t laughed that hard in a long time. Their
harmonies were amazing, heartwarming and full of energy. Knowing
that they are brothers, you can feel the love they have towards
each other, and I`m sure their beloved mother is smiling down
upon them! Thank you boys for a clean family show, and may God
bless you, and may you be #1 in the Branson Critic Awards!

Out of all the shows we saw, I enjoyed Six the
most. They are so talented and in a completely different way.
They add comedy to their talent and it is just great. Who would
have thought that they could make the music instrument sounds
come out of their mouths? It was awesome to see their live performance.
This is the second time I have seen them but it won't be the
last. Their cd's sound like they are really using musical instruments
but not so. I thought it was so emotional when they did the
song one of them wrote which was dedicated to their mother who
lost her life to cancer. I loved the video of them and all their
family. Keep on performing SIX and I know others love you just
as much as I do.

Their harmony is incredible and the best in the
nation. Their personality shines through with each and
every song and they love to entertain all ages. Branson
does not have any other show like this, in fact, we have never
seen a group so versatile anywhere. It is hard to put into words
just how wonderful they sound because they have the most incredible
voices that sound like the real instrument and being a music
major, I am real critical, but they are amazing! We tell
everyone about Branson and the shows they must see and one of
the first shows that we mention now is the SIX!!! and we do

They come out to greet you after the show and they are all very
pleasant individuals. I would see them every time I am

We go a couple of times a year. We have never seen any show

of the musical instruments are done with their voices.
We never get bored with going to this show. They keep you on

Excellent vocals. Good songs. Great cast. I have
seen this show seven times and will see it again best show
we have seen In Branson. They deserve a larger theatre.
We see acts that are half as good in a theatre that is twice
as large. I have seen most of the shows in Branson and this
show by far is the best. You will not believe at first that
all of the sounds you here are coming from the brothers
After they do a few solo performances you will be a believer.
The parking is good and of course we all know about the traffic.
They change the show around a little so when you bring some
friends down to see them again there is still some different
songs. I am not a fan of seeing a show over and over but this
show will change your mind. On a scale of ten it gets a twenty.

Several years ago while visiting Branson, we were
given tickets, as part of a package deal, to the new show Six.
Since then it has become our favorite show and entertainment
in Branson. We make several trips a year there, spring,
fall and winter and we NEVER miss the show. What comes
out of their mouths is pure, perfect harmony, without flaw,
emotional, funny, challenging, addictive, amazing, professionally
blended voices! The family oriented feeling and closeness
is so touching and moving. The show takes you to so many
different levels of unbelief that voices could be so, so....unbelievably
beautiful to hysterically laughing, then crying with the memories
of their mother and father, only to end with a spiritual and
military uplifting. This shows comes so highly recommended
from my family. We have taken business acquaintances and
family as well, to Branson especially for no other reason but
to see this fantastic show, SIX. SIX IS so addictive and
we will continue to feed this addiction as long as their show
is alive and well in Branson, MO.

This is an unbelievable show. I think it
made the trip to Branson worth it just by itself. These

humor to the show to make it fun too. I have never heard
such amazing vocals. If you close your eyes, you would
definitely think there are musical instruments but there aren't!
They sang a wide variety of songs with each one better than

Hughes Brothers TheaterSIX offers a unique experience
in Branson. We live near Branson and absolutely love the
variety of shows here, but SIX blew us away from the very first
time we saw them. The awesome vocal ability of each brother
astounds us each time we see the show. We attended the
show in September--it was our 5th time to see the show.
I don't think we'll ever get tired of seeing it. My wife
and I are in our twenties, but each time we go we see people
of all ages enjoying the show. Aside from the vocals,
one of our favorite aspects of the show is their unique/humorous
choreography. It is simplistic and eye-catching at the
same time. Also, the humor displayed in the show is unlike
any show you'll see in Branson. Throughout the show, you
find yourself gawking in amazement, laughing uncontrollably,
and singing and tapping along. And when the show is over,
you are sad because you feel like you could sit and watch them
for many more hours.

SIX was without a doubt the best show I saw on
my two trips to Branson this past year. I have suggested
this show to others and I know at least three groups that attended
this phenomenal show because of my recommendation. I purchased

The music brings back the wonderful memories of the show.
I was very impressed that the brothers came out at intermission
and talked with the audience and signed CDs and autographs!!
Refreshing in this day and age to see such personalized attention.
I also appreciate that the music was appropriate for all age
groups. Keep up the good work SIX - I cannot wait to return

Hughes Brother's Theatre
SIX is my favorite show for several reasons. First,
musically these brothers are tops! Each of their many styles
of music are crisp, clean and incredibly in tune. The a cappella
presentation is superb, including diction, style and tone. Their
instrumental effects are both realistic and tastefully done.
Second, the showmanship of this group is astounding. I was especially
impressed with their grasp of musical styles, ability to mix
humor with astounding music, and their imitation of specific
artists. When doing a Frank Sinatra number, it sounded like
old Blue Eyes himself! Third, these performers truly seem to
enjoy what they are doing. Several of the shows in Branson are
good, but SIX portrays a truly genuine performance that is very
enjoyable to the audience because of the sincere enjoyment of
the performers. And forth, this is a very family friendly show.
Modesty and taste is exemplified in all these brothers do as
they perform and entertain. SIX is a show I want to see year
after year. I would not miss it!!!!!! These performers are well
deserving of Branson's Best Show in 2009.

We were told that the show SIX would be great.
But even so, we were very pleasantly surprised at how AWESOME
it was! Those six brothers put on a very magnificent and
entertaining show. It was not magnificent because of
the grandness of the theater, nor the lavishness of the costumes
or scenery. It was the pure, simple, raw (actually it
was rather refined) TALENT of those men. They put on a
fantastic music show, even if you didn't think about the fact
that there was no orchestra. When you consider what they
could do with their voices, making all those musical instrument
sounds, it is almost unbelievable. We thoroughly enjoyed
their show: the music, the comedy, their interaction with the
audience, the patriotic touches, and especially the tribute
to their mother. We've seen a lot of shows in Branson
over the years. We have never been tempted to go see a
show a second time, because there are so many new ones, but
SIX is one we plan on seeing again when we return to Branson.
SIX was definitely one of, if not THE, BEST!

The show was slightly different than the first time we saw them
- it was even better. What they can do with their voices
is amazing. Musically they perform a wide variety that
provides something for every taste in music. Their comedy
thoroughly entertains all ages, there is nothing off color in
their performance. This is the one show in Branson that
we have seen in our four visits to the area that I recommend

From the time we stopped in to pick up our tickets, we were
pleased. The gal working behind the desk told us about

by eating in the Restaurant attached to the restaurant--which
we did! We loved the music! It was a clean, fun
show. Their voices were great, and they guys had a lot
of fun--sometimes at each other's expense--which is family living!
The performers' extended family were working the "sales

I come to Branson at least twice a year, and I
always make sure I get tickets to see SIX. This group
of brothers is by far the best in Branson. Their talent
is unmatched; not only through their music, but their ability
to connect with the audience. They provide a variety of
music genres to please all those in attendance. I love
the humor they inject into their act. It has always be done
with taste and respect for those watching, and the audience
always loves it--they get many laughs and applause. Individually, the
brothers have their own special vocal and/or instrumental talent
which is so awesome to watch. One finds it difficult to
believe that the accompaniment is coming from only their mouths.
By far, the most endearing portion of the show has got to be
the tribute to their mother. The song written by one of the
brothers was very touching. It was plain to see how loved
she was, and how much their father means to them.
It was special for me to see the pictures of all the brothers,
their wives and children.
I believe SIX should receive the top honors for the best in

My whole family is very, very musical, so my brothers

many that you can truly do anything just as long as you believe!
After seeing them perform I got the chance to meet them and

I was standing in line at a store in Branson when
the girl in front of me asked the cashier which shows she recommended.
The clerk replied immediately, "You have to see SIX, it's
really unbelievable!" The girl said that she had heard
that also. Having no plans for shows yet, and knowing that asking
the "locals" was always the best plan, we decided
to follow her advice. Parking was not the problem I had anticipated,
and even though we arrived late-ish, we found that there was
not a bad seat in the house. When the lights went down and the
show started, we were absolutely blown away! These brothers
are so talented that they had us under their spell from the
moment they stepped on the stage. Not only can they sing (they
covered everything from rap to Elvis to Frank Sinatra to a very
believable Frankie Valli) but they also made the sound effects
for all instruments that would have played during each song,
which was amazing! Their harmonizing was angelic and their banter
reminded m
e of the old "Sonny and Cher" or "Donny
and Marie" shows. They had choreography that would have
made the Temptations jealous. I ended up purchasing all three
of their CDs and waited after the show to get everyone's autograph.
How I wish they also had a DVD, so that I could show their performance
to my friends and family. They have heard me rave so much about
the show that they need proof! It was , by far, the best show
I have EVER seen (really!), and in 54 years I've seen quite

We initially didn't know anything about this show.
It was recommended to us by an employee of our timeshare, who
said it was very good, so we made arrangements to go.
It turned out to be the most enjoyable show we have ever seen
musically. It was interesting musically, funny, patriotic,
and poignant all in one evening. The 6 brothers worked
well together, had wonderful harmonies, and used their musical
vocal "instrumental" gifts as none other we have ever
heard. It was an amazing and awesome performance and we
are still talking about them! Our new-found "friends"
to the left of us remarked that they came every chance they
got to the show, and after we experienced the show, we wouldn't
mind doing the same thing! I don't think you could ever
get tired of hearing the beautiful music and the fun songs from
yesterday or learning something new rhythmically. It was
so much fun! We were all clapping our hands and tapping
our feet. We bought all their CDs they had for sale an
d have enjoyed listening to them since that night - we
hope we can visit again very soon. They are a remarkable

My Husband and I were in Branson for a week and
saw several great shows. But, the last show that we went to
was SIX...and we were absolutely thrilled with the talent of
these 6 fellows. Besides being great singers, they also provided
orchestration with their voices. It sounded like they had musical
accompaniment but it all came from their vocal chords!
What a talented family!!
They made it very personal when they included
a video of pictures of their family as they were growing up
and the whole group as they are today, with wives and children.
This was included in a tribute and song written for their Mother,
and then introduced Dad, who was in the audience. Their
love of family and the country was very genuine and it was a
very special part of the show.
We brought home CD's so we're enjoying more of

proud for my son in the military, feel affirmed in my important
job as a mom. A full package of experience! I walked out with
every sense being enlightened. Their show was crafted well with
serious moments along with very fun, clean humor. It was by
far the best quality show in Branson one that I would choose
again to see. Their CD is still being played in my home along
with my highly praised comments to all friends who listen and
inquire, "I was in Branson, and I saw this great music
group...no instruments except their wonderful voices...six brothers...ya
gotta see them if you make it to Branson...they are called SIX.
Just remember SIX brothers!"

We had some time and thought we would try SIX.
I don't regret a minute that we spent at their show. We can't
say enough about the show to tell everyone how excellent the
show was. We were blown away! Everyone always is asking what
show would you recommend while you are in Branson. No doubt,
we always recommended SIX. We wanted to attend another show
but had run out of our time in Branson. We bought the CD "Live
Wired" and wish we had bought more. We will definitely
see SIX everytime we come to Branson. We came back home and
play our CD for our friends, however you need to see the show
to appreciate how great this group actually performs. The CD's
we definitely recommend, however to see them in performance
- you will love them forever.

We have been to the Six show the past two years.
We will be in Branson in 2010 and will definitely attend a third
time bringing some additional family members with us. The first
year we thought it was fantastic but in 2009 it was a completely
new show and we thought it was better than the year before,
and we didn't think that was possible.
We are amazed by the vocal clarity and pure pitch
for each one of the Six brothers. These young men were given
a musical 'gift' and as performers are individually and as a
group the best. The night we attended this year, their father
was in the row behind us and when Kevin introduced him he got
tears in his eyes. It is quite apparent their families are very
important to them as is their faith in God, which is important
to my husband and myself.
I have a Six T-shirt and being 67 years old, I
don't wear that type of thing, but it is pink my favorite color,
our favorite group and I wear it just to promote this talented
group. If you're in Branson, don't go home without attending
a performance with these "SIX".

I have been involved with music most of my life.
The group SIX is such a unique group in that they do not use
instruments, but the sounds you hear they are making. It is
just something. The first time I sat through the show I was
so blown away that I think i did not notice all the detailed
harmonies and the vast talent each of them has. The ranges in
their voices is unbelievable. The bass guy has the lowest range
I have ever heard. Even when he is so low you can still understand
his words. From my time seeing them in May till my time in July
I noticed more at the July show. I think the dancing and the
comedy was fantastic. The costumes were fitting for the show.
I recommend this show to anyone I hear that is going to Branson.

We stopped in Branson on a 2 month trip across
the USA we went to see SIX in Branson because we had seen them
before in Atlantic city NJ in the showboat casino. They were
fantastic!!!! they are truly a unique show and one of
a kind. not like most of the other shows you have in Branson
finding them in Branson was soooooooooooo great!!! but we didn't
think they could be any better then when we saw them in NJ.
To tell the truth they were even better than we could imagine
with a whole different show and it was fabulous.
Branson is so fortunate to have SIX there. if
SIX doesn't win the best show vote they should be right up there
with they best. when we come back to Branson it will be
so we can see SIX again. we may see other shows while
there but they cant compare to SIX and SIX would be the main
reason for coming back to Branson our only disappointment is
they are so far from us. The theater set up was great. No problem
with parking. theater employees were fantastic people.

To be honest, I had never heard of them until
my Mother and Father in-laws invited us to go with them to the
"Six" show. They said that they had seen them last
year and really enjoyed it. My wife and I agreed to go. My father-in-law
just said "sit back, relax....I think you'll like it".
So I did as he said. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. Was not anything
like what I had expected. Figured that we'd be listening to
a bunch of guys just sing. Was I wrong! Can not wait to go to
see them again. I want my my parents and our three kids to go
with us. At the show, I bought 2 CDs and they are among the
most listened to that we have in the car. Been MANY an occasion
that either my 8 or 10 year old will say, "can we listen
to SIX". I will put it in and my 8 year old son is back
there trying to make all the drum sounds, while my daughter
is singing along. We all love listening. I think once they see
them in person, they will want to listen even more.

The show is fantastic. SIX voices. This date was
the second time in a week we saw the SIX show. The format may
be the same but each show was fresh and a bit different. Their
voices harmonize so well together. The way they can each make
the different sounds of instruments to really make you think
there is a band in the background. They play off the audience
and engage the audience from the beginning to the end. Whether
it be the announcer at the beginning , Kevin, Curtis or Jak
in the audience talking/engaging us in singing parts with them
, all members of the SIX show (Barry, Kevin, Curtis, Owen, Jak
and Lynn) comedy in a sketch using the audience, or coming off
stage and singing in the aisles, they made us part of the show.
The man beside me kept yawning when we first sat down and said
they just got in and was tired. I told him he would not be tired
for long and he would be energized shortly. At the end of the
show he turned to me and said I was right.

I truly believe that any group of performers who
can entertain with accapello genius deserve this award. I saw
the show on three differnt occassions in three different states
and was amazed at each performance. I brought my two children
who were enterained throughout the shows and wanted to see the
next performance of each show. SIX is on top of the world and
deserve the award for best performance and creativity. Truly
a pleased fan! A great gift to all is family entertainment and
children should have every chance in the world possible to witness
the talents of these extraordinary group. There is only one
other show that is performed the same way in Atlantic City and
Las Vegas and they were not near as good as SIX as the matter
of fact I can't even remember their name. Again the reward is
absolutely deserved. Patricia Emanuele

We booked this show, not really knowing much about
the group, but having heard good things about SIX. We have been
to Branson 3 times before and this is the BEST show we have
ever seen, in Branson or even Las Vegas!! The brothers are very
good vocalists, they have good rapport among them, they incorporate
humor, style and versatility in their performance. Their harmony
is excellent, and judging by the audience reaction, they are
extremely well received and entertaining. We bought their CDs
and play them frequently while driving! We have recommended
their show to many of our friends and have heard the same reaction
as ours from all of them!

This show is a high energy blast from the start.
The Six brothers started the show with a bang and just kept
going. It was absolutely unbelievable that their harmonies and
'music' was all made by vocal sounds. I loved the choices in
music, and they way they progressed through the ages and genres
of singing. I thought that their renditions were fabulous, and
the bald guy was absolutely hilarious singing his solo and the
routine they did around that. The jokes were funny and very
family friendly. When they played the slide show about their
mother and sang 'Love times 10' it was very touching and moving.
Their dancing is great - they move all over the stage, and I
loved the interaction with the audience and how they kept jokes
going with the people in attendance. It was the best show I've
seen in Branson, and maybe anywhere!

Every time we go to Branson, which is generally
twice each year, we put SIX on our must see list. This
is a group that you can see over and over and never grow tired
of them, even if the show is the same. The incredible
vocals and the fact that all of the instruments come out of
their mouths is just incredible. Their humor is very family
friendly and they all are so personable as they perform and
meet the audience at intermission time and afterward. We
have been going to Branson for going on five years now and have
sometimes gone as many times as three times in one year. SIX
has not always been there in that time, but when they came,
they hooked us. Their theatre is almost always full which
speaks of their talent. This is a show that no one would

telling us where we were going until we got there. We
were blown off our feet! Not only was there choice of
music wonderful, but the atmosphere throughout the show was
fantastic. They had the audience captivated the
entire time. It's almost impossible to believe that they
use their voices to create the music that comes out of their
mouths. This is one of the best shows I've seen EVER in
my entire life. They truly are an inspiration, and when
you leave, you are sorry the show is over. I can't wait to see

I had no idea what we were in for when we purchased
tickets for the SIX show. This was the most amazing show we
have ever seen and we have seen a lot of shows in Pigeon Forge
and Gatlinburg, TN. It was very fast paced and entertaining.
I could not believe what was coming out of their mouths. I have
never heard anything like it. You would have thought they had
a backup band and background singers. I had heard about SIX
from other people that had seen the show but this show exceeded
all our expectations. We saw the show the last night we were
in Branson. If we had not been going home the next day I would
have bought tickets to see the show all over again. It was not
only entertaining but very upbeat, humorous, and the harmony
between the brothers was stupendous!! I would gladly recommend
this show to family and friends because it is a show you can
take the entire family to and not feel uncomfortable. I would
rate this show as the highest rated show we have ever seen.
I only wish they were closer so we could attend
more of their shows. I could watch and listen to them for hours.

We've seen SIX several times. I like the fact
that I can bring my 6 year old daughter, who has loved the show
since she was 4, all the way to my 79 mother. The show is clean
with good humor and good musics (as Jak says it). A friend of
mine talked me into going to my first show almost 2 years ago.
I have taken all my friends that I could since then. We've been
through a lot the past 2 years. The company that I worked for
closed, like many around the country. My sister bought me a
season pass for my birthday and even if I'm having the worst
day....I can go to the show and it makes things seem not so
bad. There's always another way to look at things.

SIX was fabulous! It is amazing what those guys
can do vocally! I have not stopped telling people about them.
I loved the way they interacted throughout the show with each
other and with the audience. You could definitely tell they
are brothers.
The show we saw was over Memorial Day weekend.
Not only did the guys show respect for the USA, the holiday
and those it tributes, but the show was full of good humor,
great music everyone can relate to, totally family friendly,
and lots of fun, fun, fun! I still can't believe there wasn't
a real tambourine or guitar! My husband and I enjoyed every
minute of the show. They are the most entertaining show we have
seen in years! We would travel all the way back to Branson just
to see them!

There are certainly a lot of good shows in Branson,
in fact there are many great shows in Branson, but the one that
keeps me coming back is Six. I know that Andy is good,
and I know that Yakov is funny and kind, but the most important
thing to me is pretty simply, can I take my 85 year grandma
and my 3 year granddaughter and have them both walk away with
smiles, tears, and comfort.
That word comfort covers broad territory, however
when it comes to Six, it truly is not just how the seats feel,
but how I felt in the seat from the graciousness, quality of
sound, respect, and the tremendous amount of stage empathy
for their audience. They honor one (their mom) and all,
as should be done to continue the type of Americana entertainment
that makes Branson famous. We have seen them well over
6 times, and bring all of our friends and family, we know what
to expect and are expectations are always met with greater performances
each time. They are truly one of the best. I am
grateful that they have been allowed to be part of Branson.

The SIX Show was fantastic and a total family
show. The music was excellent along with the fact that no instruments
were used at all. It was also very interesting that their family
also is involved in the show. They really related to the crowd
and seemed to really enjoy giving the show as well. We wanted

Truly a FAMILY oriented show. Recommended as the best show in

wish they had elaborated more on the part that the other four

their mother. Knowing how hard it is raising children and to
have had all boys wow what a remarkable woman. The video the
music everything they did for her showed me this was a
great woman a woman to be honored and that's just what her sons
did they honored their mother. My husband is a Dallas Fireman

Having sung in and coached contemporary vocal
a cappella groups for many years, I was thoroughly impressed
with SIX! They are consummate musicians who make the very, very
difficult harmonies, key changes, etc. sound effortless. Their
choreography is great and so natural-looking! The quality of
their performance is the very highest; a fact I recognize and
greatly appreciate! Our high school group, Crimson (female a
cappella group) was fortunate enough to open for SIX and they
were so encouraged by SIX's enthusiasm and positive comments
about what they did!! It was a huge boost as our girls headed
to New York for national finals in a contemporary a cappella
competition!
SIX was also able to create a very entertaining
and fun show with lots of humor....without ever being off-color
in any way.
Refreshing....and great for our high school kids

I was surprised to be asked to go to the show
by my wife. It was in a theater which was used by another show,
but the outside signage was excellent. The parking was a bit
difficult, but once in the show the atmosphere was excellent.
I was blown away by the talent, aliveness and audience awareness
of the brothers. Their story is very intriguing and adds to
the character of the show while highlighting their broad talent.
Their use of props, their wide repertoire of musical genres,
their wide capabilities of performance made for a wonderfully
entertaining evening. Then, they made themselves available to
the audience. In short, they were wonderful performers who could
easily be the guys next door that one would love to just sit

glad I got acquainted with SIX.

The boys in SIX have made an enduring impression
of consistent and superb musical talent for us. You do not get
distracted from their performance by other things. The short
intermission just lets you have a moment to suddenly wind down,
if you can, before a second explosion of pure, intense excitement
and pleasure by the boy's superior musical talent. What
little non-musical content there is in their performance is
a wonderfully droll sense of humor in content, visual expression
and delivery. The show is a family show. While some
of the little ones might not catch all of the comedy content,
they will not get bored!

SIX is one of the best shows I've ever seen and
definitely the very best in Branson!! I was just amazed of what
they were able to do. What an incredible amount of talent that
reaches out and captivates you. They danced, sang, made music
without instruments, added a lot of comedy, impersonations and
told a very heartwarming story with video about their family,
childhood and their mother. I laughed so hard when Elvis came
down the stairs with a bucket of chicken! I can't pick out one
of the six that stood out more than another one because they
were all equally great and different. It was a great adult and
family show. If you want to be entertained by SIX of the absolute
very best performers then this is a MUST see show! They got
it all and they more than deserve to be voted the BEST in BRANSON!
The place was packed and the view was excellent. The only downfall

My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by the
SIX show. We enjoyed the immense talent of this very unique
family. Their singing, dancing, and comedy were above the level
of any other live show I've ever seen. SIX deserves the Best
Show award. We liked how they gave the audience a "tour"
of the musical history and re-enacted those time periods and
performers to perfection. We also enjoyed the family aspect
of the show. There was a part where they talked about their
family history, showed family pictures, and actually introduced
their father who was in the audience. We definitely hope to

We have seen numerous shows in Branson over the
years. We have never seen a show which was not enjoyable and
worth the "price of admission". However, SIX was a
cut above; and my wife and I sat spellbound during the entire
performance. The six brothers kept us laughing, mesmerized at
times, and thoroughly entertained. We were in the audience the
evening that their father was in attendance, and the brothers
played a moving video tribute to their Mother. There might have

place SIX on our "must see" list when we return to

Some of the best harmony we have heard, and some
really great songs that brought back a lot of memories. While
watching the show, every time I looked over at my wife, she
had a very big smile on her face and I knew that we had spent
our money well. Their ability to perform without instruments
is very unique, and unless you are watching, one would never
know they don't have drums, instruments, etc. We have a Beach

the Six version better. The tribute to their mom is very touching

SIX is the best show in Branson, they combine
outstanding singing, comedy, audience interaction and a cross
between choreography and close order drill to leave you energized
when you leave the theater. In addition, in talking to them,
you will not find a more down to earth, genuinely nice group
of men. Curtis rendition of Unchained Melody is the best I have
ever heard, including Al Hibler's version!
The range of music they sing is not only broad,
but tailored to the audiences that come to their show; from
the Beach Boys to Barry's number as Frankie Valli. Lyn singing
as Louie Armstrong AND Frank Sinatra demonstrates not only his
great voice, but also it's range.

I went to Branson, Missouri this August for the
first time. I was able to get the opportunity to see the SIX
show. It was the best show I have seen in a really long time!!
I couldn't believe the things they did with their voices. They
were really funny in the show the show that I saw. At the intermission
and at the end of the show I was able to talk to them. They
were really nice and gave me some good advice, since I want
to become a music teacher. Curtis is probably my favorite because
he is the high tenor of the group and I am also a high tenor.
I know he wasn't in the spotlight all the time when I was there
but I think that he was one of the best I saw that night. Don't
get me wrong, I loved them all but Curtis was my favorite. Not
only were the SIX guys nice, the staff was amazing too. I went

4My wife and I loved the six show so much we went
back a second time and took our son and grandson to see them.
They both thought they were awesome. That is the exact word
they used ""awesome". The singing was great as
well as the humor they put in the show. It is hard to believe
that they made all their own music without a musical instrumental.
I would encourage anyone who hasn't seen The Six to go see them.
They are worth every penny you spend. My son and grandson are
from Virginia and they are talking about going to see the Six
again in 2010.Hands down they have got to be the best act in
Branson. That is my opinion. The impersonations of different
stars is quite humorous. The funny skits between brothers is
nothing but roaring funny. My family couldn't stop laughing.
My final comment is they are "AWESOME".

SIX is the most OUTSTANDING show in Branson! On
our trip this summer, we were looking for a show that could
accommodate all the tastes of our extended family--kids, teenagers,
adults and grandparents. This was it! Everyone, including Grandma,

WOW! As a treat, my in-laws took my husband
and I to see SIX. They told us before the show that we
would really enjoy ourselves and they were so right! The
show was highly energized, funny and had music for everyone
to enjoy. I am totally amazed at the talent of these men
in how their voices blend and that they are the instruments.
It's was almost surreal for me to realize that all those
wonderful sounds came from their voices and not an instrument.
I was also very touched by the tribute to their mother
which only shows what an amazing woman she was in the raising

The performance by SIX was absolutely mind-boggling!
Their ability to harmonize was perfect. The percussion
performed by Owen was unbelievable. We wanted to bring
him a drink of water because we were certain that his mouth
was very dry, but you couldn't tell that by his performance.
Their performance of "Love times ten" was heart rendering
and knowing that their mother died in her 50s leaving ten sons
behind made this song even more meaningful. My husband
purchased three CDs of their music for me and I can't play them
enough. I have even introduced SIX to my friends and they
plan to go and see the performance when they go to Branson next.
SIX's tribute to the veterans was so nice. My husband

the ticket people were, they all are in Branson, but these people
made you feel like family. We went in got our seat, and
the magic began. WOW, we were so in awe over the brothers
and there music. This is truly our favorite group of singers.
Their jokes and fun with the people in there seats was like
no other. We tell everyone about them, and say don't go
to Branson unless you plan to see "6"

We heard about the show SIX before our trip but
did not really plan to go. It was not something that interested
teenage boys. After we arrived and planned the week, SIX came
highly recommended. Since each member of our family got to pick
one to attend, Mom's choice was SIX. My son is a drummer and
loves music, but he was so impressed by the harmonies and instrumental
(vocal) rhythms that he is still talking about the Knudsen brothers
and SIX. He is 18 and I am 48 and we finally agree on something.
It was our favorite show of the five we saw in Branson.

Six was an amazing show! How can they make all
those sounds without instruments?! And their story is so much
fun. I can just see all 10 of them in the car, with Dad teaching
them songs to keep them from hurting each other! And their families
were there to help on the t-shirt and cd sales. It is really
awesome to see them coming together to do this. And Branson
is a great place for them to share their talent and still have
healthy families. I would definitely recommend this show to
anyone that loves good entertainment and especially anyone who
loves the richness and complexity of music. Excellent show!

Highly entertaining and a musical treat. They
presented a variety of music and touched our hearts with levity
and genuine sincerity. Amazing sounds made us wonder where the
percussion was. It was obvious that they love what they do,
even though they do it over and over, day after day. I had seen
them 17 years ago as the Knudsen Brothers at an International
SPEBSQSA (men's barbershop) event and was thrilled that they
have continued and grown to entertain at such a high level.
I'll come back and see them again in a heartbeat. The staff
was warm and friendly too.

Branson's best show is by all means six. We have
seen this show several times and taken our grandchildren also.
The six brothers are fantastic and the sounds of musical instruments
that come from there own mouths is incredible. Who needs a band
when they can supply their own music? This special talent that
these young men are blessed with just makes their show stand
out and above others we have seen. We also enjoyed the way that
they share there families and the films of them growing up.
I believe that six is the greatest show to have come to Branson
in recent years. It is for sure my favorite and the one I would
recommend to people of all ages to see. They won't regret it.

The show SIX was amazing, awesome, and very remarkable!
The singing, funny scenes, audience participation, energy exploded,
LOVE shared, tribute to veterans, family oriented, talent beyond
measure, personable to audience, and artistically fun was much
more than what I expected. I enjoyed every minute of the show.
Especially when SIX gave a memorable tribute to their mother.
What a testimony she had and that testimony lives on because
of her sons! When the doctor told her she would not be able
to have children, she looked to the Lord and believed in the
Lord Jesus Christ who is the chief physician. The Lord was the
author and finisher of her faith. He blessed her with all her
sons! I think it was ten! Oh my Lord! What a beautiful
family and having five children myself, I know it was not easy.
But God made a way and what a great way He made for this family!
SIX's father was in the audience the night I saw the show. The
night I saw the show with my mother and two grand daughters.
We had the tremendous pleasure of meeting this great man, the
father of ten sons, a WWII vet! Incredible. His pride and joy
of his family shown through his sparkling eyes as week briefly
spoke. I would see the show SIX again, and again, and again
and still never get tired of the show SIX. Keep up the
great work. Praise the Lord! All honor and glory belong
to him. Thank you for being a vessel that the Lord can
use and continue to reach out to a hurt and broken world by
living and showing the spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ. The
spirit that your mother had and the Good News that she has passed
onto you all! What a great family!

I was told about the SIX concert by some family
members who happened to have seen their concert around the holidays
in 2008. They were very impressed and told if there was
one show to see it would be SIX. We made our trip this
past July. My wife and I love to expose our 4 children
to music and a cappella music is some of my favorite but I had
never experienced any sound like this. The show was extremely
entertaining from mimicking some Vegas talent to sampling different
eras of music. But the extraordinary part were the sounds
coming from human voices in unison and harmony covering all
instrumentation. Incredible! My 9yr old and 3yr
old sons can constantly be heard doing their own Owen percussion
impersonations. An added bonus for our family was being
seated close to the stage. Our original seats placed us
near the back but the staff recognized the small children and
told us they would try to find us seats closer to the front
for the little ones to see. We ended up on the 3rd row
left side. Kudos to the staff for caring for families
with small children! It has been 2 months since our concert
experience and we still listen to SIX almost every day.
Greatest concert experience ever!

SIX is an extremely entertaining show and just
gets better and better each time we experience them. Their show
is just delightful. It is very funny throughout and they are
so talented with their singing, harmonizing, and their own music
creation. It is such a clean, patriotic, family oriented show,
which we are so grateful for. What an awesome experience. My
wife and I try to see them each time we are in the Branson area.
We have come to adore them and their talents. Just Awesome!
We are proud to say that we vote them as the BEST show in Branson!
We feel they deserve every accolade they receive. They work

At first I didn't believe my ears, then I did
believe my eyes, then I didn't believe my response. It
was all I could do to stay in my seat and not jump to the stage
and join in. As it was I was screaming and singing from
my seat. The techniques they used the choreography the lighting
and the costume colors, all added to the uniqueness. The
enthusiasm, the energy, the soul fullness and the authentic
passion that they portrayed was extremely heart warming.
The final story of their life at the end is what brought me
from screaming and shouting to emotionally participation via
tears of respect for the tenacity it took to persevere through
life without a female role model as important as your mom.
I bought 12 of their Christmas CD's for friends.

I came with a bus tour I was the escort.
The family members of SIX were friendly and treated our tour
group very well. Most of the people on the bus said
on the way home that SIX was their favorite on the trip.
Wonderful comedy and the music is awesome. The brothers
intermingle with each other so well. One of the things
I like is that they visited with our group and made us feel
like they were regular people just like us. I loved
the stuff they threw out in the audience also. One lady
from our group got a T-shirt and she wore it home.
Most of the people said they want to come back to this particular
show next year. My husband and I also saw this show
on our own and that is why I put it on our tour group’s
itinerary. Everyone said I had good taste.
Good luck to you SIX.

were in Branson for 3 weeks. This is the 4th time we have seen
SIX. It is our favorite show in Branson. I love that they are
brothers and they act like it. I love the tribute to their Mom.
You can tell there is a lot of love there. They also do more
than just stand up there and sing. They dance and have matching
outfits. They do a lot clothes changes so you don't see the
same thing the whole show. There is a lot of audience interaction
and that is great also.

We had an excellent seat (front center). The Six
Brothers Show had a wide range of music (examples: Elvis, Sinatra,
Blues etc.). The involved the audience in their show. There
was an elderly couple that had been married 40-50 yrs. in the
audience and had the gentleman lay down on the floor to show
how much he loved his wife and the key secret of his marriage
was "Yes maam". They actually took the hands of people
in the audience and sang to them (I was one of them). It was
definitely a "family" show.... nothing risque about
it. They included a young girl and boy in the singing...they
were adorable. They also had a video of their family. It was
an excellent show, and I have recommended it to everyone I know
that may want to go to Branson to see a show.

SIX continues to be my vote for the best in both
quality and value found in the Branson area. The production
and sound quality are exceptional and on a level with any "big
city" productions I've experienced. Theirs is a non-stop,
laugh and chill filled production sharing such rich gifts in
talent and humor in a personal and heartwarming manner. My parents
have been following them for years and never miss an opportunity
to see them perform or speak with them in person to catch up
on new events in their personal and professional lives. SIX
treat you like family and have such humble hearts. Reminiscent
of other well known famous family productions, I always feel
a special kinship with SIX as I too am from a large family.
I would encourage anyone who enjoys wholesome family focused
humor and exceptional musical talent to attend the SIX show.
It continues to exceed my expectations providing both joy and
inspiration to generations of music lovers. A very big "Thank
YOU" SIX for your love of family, faith and country. You
are an American treasure and I'll see you again next year!

SIX is the BEST show in Branson. In our opinion
they are NUMBER ONE!! It is hard to describe their talent, but
they certainly have lots of it!! We have taken LOTS of family
and friends to see the show and they are always very impressed.
Our grandchildren ages 3 and 6 ask to go see them over and over.
We took friends from Jacksonville, Florida that have a Son who
plays the violin for many weddings, so they certainly know music.
They were so impressed they bought all the CD's so their son
could listen and understand what a wonderful show they had seen.
If you haven't seen SIX you must prioritize your list and make
them the number one thing to see in Branson.

My husband and I along with several of my friends
went to see Six at an area appreciation in 2008; we were blown
away by their talent. What a unique show with Las Vegas style
entertainers. We all said. WOW! The Hughes Brothers theater
is set up viewer friendly, most all seats have a wonderful view
of the stage. The shows lighting personnel were top notch, this
is not a show that was just thrown together, they are all professional
entertainers. When the Brothers first come on stage, you can't
believe what you are seeing and hearing. The music they make,
(remember no band is playing, all the music and various instruments
you think that you hear are actually coming from the Brothers
own voices!) Then, all through the entire show they continue
singing a wide range of songs from Frankie Valley, to songs
from the 50's, do-wop, up to the minute new songs, etc. I suppose
the songs from the 50's, like The Lion Sleeps Tonight, and an
Elvis Medley, are among my personal favorite.
Their comedy is also very funny; they use visual
comedy, along with some jokes and a lot of personal stories
that have a humorous spin to them. A couple times I laughed
so hard I about embarrassed myself, especially when one of them
had the lens fall out of his sunglasses, hysterical. How Owen
does the percussion instruments all throughout the show is amazing.
They also have a very touching vocal and visual tribute to their
Mother that dies of Cancer very moving.
A cappella music was not my favorite form of entertainment
until I saw this show. I have since been to the show a total
of 3 times in 2008 and 2 times so far in 2009 and am looking
forward to seeing them again. I have told all my friends and
even strangers we meet that if they want to see the most professional,
entertaining, and amazingly different kind of show in Branson,
then they MUST go and see SIX.
These Six Brothers put on a high energy, extremely
varied and hugely talented show anywhere I have been and that
includes shows I have seen on Cruises and in Vegas.
This should be Show of the Year or vocal group
of the Year. It has my vote all the way.

Our experience with seeing SIX was absolutely
wonderful. There was comedy, and the brothers make it fun for
the entire audience. We booked the tickets without even really
knowing who SIX were. I wasn't real excited about their show,
until they started. I am in my mid thirties and wasn't sure
the gospel or the older rock would appeal to me, however I loved
every one of their sets. It was the best show that we saw there
during our stay. The music is fabulous!!!! We bought their cds
and I listen to them all the time. The gospel music was really
relaxing me. I especially love the song about their mother.
My only regret is I did not bring my children
along for this show. This would have been the best one for them
to see. Next year the entire family will be going!!
Thanks Six for an excellent performance

SIX is my favorite group of all times. I
have had the privilege of seeing their show several years ago
and was immediately won over. My daughter accompanied me this
year and all I could do was rave about this group, so she was
just a little bit on the "yeah, right, this is going to
be something to see". Well, she too is now on the side
of "they're great". Kevin left the stage at one point
and actually tried to hold her hand and she was embarrassed
but enjoyed it. I got to hold the hand of Owen. That was a first
for me, to see Owen actually being in the forefront, singing
and joking, and yes, coming into the audience. The other time
Owen seemed to feel more comfortable being in the background.
Lynn did great on the Sinatra thing that he did, and of course,
everyone likes it when Jak does "his thing", which
is always funny. The young girls especially like Curtis and
as he says, he's really the cute one. Barry seems to bind them
altogether. Yes, I have told everyone who will listen; if they
ever come to our area, make sure I get there. I will always
love this group, they are refreshing, funny, fantastic, and
you don't have to worry if there is a child in the audience
because you will never have to hear vulgarity or watch unwholesome
acts during their show. They are great. I can't say enough good
stuff about these guys. I would like, however, to meet the other
four brothers who work in the back, or so I understand. Lynn's
song, Love Times 10, is great. I can't say enough about this

My teenagers laughed out loud! It is hard to impress
teenagers. They loved every minute of the show. I have seen
shows, concerts & Musicals in Vegas, in Branson, Kansas
City & Chicago. This is by far the best show of any kind
I have ever seen. There was so much enjoyment and fun! Each
brother had his own special talent as well as the amazing talent
when they all combine together. They truly are professional
vocalists. I'd have to say my favorite comedian is Jak. He has
a way of picking on himself & his brothers that is so much
fun. Their reactions to him make it even more priceless. It
is so hard to pick a favorite because I loved something special
about each one! The musical instrument sounds they can make
with their voices are miraculous. The show ended leaving you
feeling great, impressed at their ability to have such a wide
vocal range. I have told everyone I know about them & how
they need to go see them. I really love the song "Love
times 10". I have 3 children in vocal programs at school,
my oldest being recognized on the state level in high school
was very impressed with their ability to harmonize. He truly
understands how hard it is to get that many voices in synch.
Their music is so powerful & full of feeling. I bought their
CD "Believe" I told others about how great they are
then played the CD & they were amazed. Hearing them sing
"With or Without You" without instruments was so impressive.
For them to be more entertaining to me than a Broadway Musical
or Disney Live show is really saying something. They take all
around wholesome family fun and make it inspiring! This isn't
just the best family show..this is the best show, ever! I can't
wait to go back & take friends! The beat boxing, the electric
guitar sounds, the trumpet sounds, the vocal talent...indescribable...you
have to see it to believe it!

SIX is one of the most awesome shows we have seen
worldwide. We have seen it 8 times in the last 3 years. Its
not just 2 hours of singing, its the choreography, antics and
facial expressions that go along with it. I have all their CDs

I am voting for the SIX show this year, 2009,
because they by far, are the very best show Branson has ever
had. They are just a class above all the others. I have been
to many many shows in Branson and a lot of them are very good,
but then you go to see SIX, and they are just BRILLIANT! There
is NO comparison. They should win Branson show of the year in
2009, because they are the best in Branson. Their show offers
everything, amazing vocals, dance, unbelievable talent and variety,
awesome comedy (GO Jak! ;) ) and they cater to all age groups,
I have taken my 67 year old mom, our kids ranging from 7-21,
and they all LOVE it! Anytime we have family come to town, SIX
is the show we take them to. Again, they are just a step, or
I should say, a few steps, above all the other shows in town.
I work for a ticket center in town, and we sell more tickets
for SIX than any other show in town, due to word of mouth, SIX
is, the talk of the town. If this tells you how good they are,
SIX is the only show we send people to, that the people will
come back to see us and THANK us for sending them to, you don't
get that with any other show in town. We hear all the time from
tourists, SIX is the BEST show they have seen on their vacation.
I have seen the SIX show probably 12 times or more since they
moved here 3 yrs ago, and everytime I go, I sit in my seat, and
think to myself, SIX is one of the best reasons of being in
Branson. I mean you have Silver Dollar City, outlet shopping,
lakes, and SIX. It really is an honor to sell their tickets,
but even more, its an honor to go see their show. SIX really
is one of the best and one of the top reasons to come to Branson.
I would drive 12 hours to vacation in Branson just to come see
the show SIX.

I have been going to Branson for many years and

heartfelt family values and patriotism as well as their unique

We have seen the SIX show at least five times
over the last 2 years. It is a family friendly show that you
can take the kids to without fear of any vulgarity. The brothers
amaze the audience with their ability to make the sound of instruments
with their voices. Jak notes during the introduction of his
brother Owen who makes the percussion sounds that he "spits
for a living"!! Jak does most of the talking between songs
and does some of the comedy with the audience. He notes during
one of the interludes that their parents who had 10 boys always
wanted a girl, but Curtis (the youngest brother) is as close
as they ever came!! During the show there is a touching video
and memorial song to their mother who died in her 50's of breast
cancer. At the end of the show there is a tribute to the veterans
in the audience. The final song has brought the audience to
their feet at every show we have attended. You will have to
go and see and hear for yourself why SIX is without a doubt
the BEST show in Branson or anywhere for that matter. See them

SIX
During a family trip to Branson, we, my husband
and I, my three sisters and their husbands and my brother and
his wife all attended the evening performance of "Six".
My husband and I had seen "Six" perform two year earlier
when we visited Branson for the first time. We were so impressed
with not only their singing talent but their interaction with
the audience. They are so very personal and down to earth. It
was almost like a family gathering. The relationship that the
Brothers share was a joy to watch. It was like being together
with my family. It was the highlight of our first trip and we
attended four other shows on that first visit.
When we decided to take a trip with my siblings,
it was the first show that we booked to see. We arrived and
were seated promptly. The auditorium was clean and the staff
was very friendly and helpful. I had already told my family
about the fantastic voices that came from the Brothers. I had
also told them that the Brothers made the backup music sounds
as they sang. Once the performance began I knew that we had
chosen the right show to attend as our first activity in Branson.
After two or three songs my brother-in-law leaned over and said
"where is the band"? I reminded him that they didn't
use a band that the Brothers used their voices to make the back
up music. He didn't believe me. As the show continued he was
astonished at the sounds could come from them.
Curtis is my favorite, however each brother has
unique talent. Their sound is so perfect that you will not believe
the harmony that they achieve together. Barry, Kevin, Lynn,
Jak, Owen and Curtis have perfected their voices until it is
hard to recognize one voice from the other. They are truly one
voice.
I really haven't heard a song that I didn't enjoy
they they have performed or recorded. I have purchased all of
their CD's and enjoy them at home just as much as when I was
there. Perhaps, being a mother, I love the song "Love times
10. What a special Mother they had. I would also like to thank
their Father for making them sing. What a talent to share with
the world.
I would recommend this performance to everyone.
Children will find the performance exciting because of the constant
activity on stage and the sounds that come from their mouths.
Parents, don't be surprised if your children start practicing
the sounds of the drum or cymbals, or any of the back up sounds
that come from their mouth. It is a family show from the beginning
note to the final sound that is performed on stage. You will
leave the show in total amazement that everything you heard
and saw was performed by "Six" Brothers.
I can't wait till we can return to Branson. "Six"
will be the first show that we attend on our return visit.

While we saw many excellent shows in Branson,
SIX topped them all with their originality, talent, and humor.
When we obtained tickets, we had no inkling of what exactly
we would be seeing, but we've never been disappointed by Branson
shows yet. As the show began and we realized that there were
no musical instruments, we watched in awe as every sound created
in the auditorium that evening was made by human voices--it
was astounding! For the next two hours we sat on the edge of
our seats, drinking in the joyful creativity of these talented
young men, and laughing so hard at their interchanges that the
time just flew by. By far, our favorite was Jac, but all the
brothers are incredibly talented. The youngest brother who composed
the song for their mother brought every one of us to tears.
What I especially appreciated was the opportunity to meet their
wifes while we shopped for CDs, and also hearing them share
their spiritual journey and their faith on the stage. Six is
truly a unique experience, which is why we are voting for them.

I have now seen SIX 4 times. They are an energetic
group who are so very talented and perform a show that keeps
your attention throughout. They have a great mix of music and
comedy. I have purchased many of their CD's for myself and to
give as gifts. "I BELIEVE" is certainly my favorite.
I have enjoyed many different groups singing gospel over the
years, but none can come close to the sound these gentlemen
share. I hope to be able to see this group many more times and
recommend their show to anyone who even thinks about going to
Branson. Thank you SIX Brothers for sharing your talent for
all to enjoy.

We come to Branson every two years. This year
we decided to try to see different shows while in town. One
of the shows that we are thrilled we saw was SIX. We all, myself,
husband and twelve-year-old daughter, loved it so much we saw
it twice while we were in town. These six brothers are truly
amazing. There is so much talent in this family. We couldn't
believe that they don't use any background music or instruments.
THEY are the instruments. The first night we sat fourteen rows
back. The seats were good. I feel even if you were all the way
in the back you wouldn't have a problem seeing. My daughter
wanted to go back to the show and sit in the front row. We lucked
out and were able to make that happen. We purchased all the
cd's and have shared them with all our friends in Arizona. They
are amazed with the cd's. They can't believe what they are hearing.
A few of our favorites in the group are Owen, the drummer boy,
Jak who is a great singer and very funny. Jak is the jokester
of the group, that's for sure. Curtis was my daughter's favorite,
not only is he talented as she would say "he's cute".
Really though, all these men are talented. If I had to recommend
one show for someone to see while in Branson it would definitely
be SIX. I recently talked with a neighbor who happened to be
in Branson the same time we were. She took her teenage boys
to see SIX. They weren't happy in the beginning but ten minutes
into the show that changed. She said they loved it.It's a show
that all ages can enjoy. It's also nice that the guys come out
during intermission to mix and mingle with the audience. I'm
glad SIX is in Branson but I know that they could be bigger
and better. They are wonderful!

These brothers are remarkable! I could close my
eyes and believe they were using musical instruments/drums.
Although it's a non-comedy show, they are very funny while interacting
with each other and the audience.
I liked their costume changes, their footwork,
their harmony. From the time we arrived and the show started,
it was wonderful. The time passed so quickly, and then it was
over. (darn)
I also enjoyed seeing the short film they showed
about their mother and their family. Their father was introduced
as well as some of the wives. It was awesome!
We see them each time we come, and we'll continue
to see them as long as they continue to perform in Branson.
They are one of the main reasons we come!

We had heard about SIX online before we came to
Branson. The week we were there we saw 5 or 6 shows and SIX
was by far the best show that we have seen! We purchased all
the CDs and the DVD so that we can share the music with our
children who weren't able to come with us. It is a show you
can take the whole family to see. We had excellent seating.
We have told others that need to go see SIX when in Branson

The show SIX was a surprise to me when I went
to Branson because we went on a recommendation but didn't know
anything about this terrific group! We knew that something special
was going to happen because the parking lot was filled to capacity
even though we arrived early. Upon entering the theater there
were all ages of people and there was excitement. The fun inside
the theater as we waited for the show to start was a preamble
of what was to come.
The guys did not disappoint us and from the first
note sung, the theater was electrified. There was great music,
lots of comedy, and wholesome fun! The young men sitting by
us were just as excited as we "older" ones. We sang
along and danced in our seats. I would highly recommend this
show!!!!

I heard from many people in Branson during our
stay that Six was the show to see. It was a toss up deciding
which one to go to but we ended up going to the Six show. Oh
my gosh! Talk about fantastic! The talent is simply amazing!
They can do it all...singing, comedy, performance...what a package!
My husband and myself were thoroughly entertained during the
entire show. I was skeptical at the opening and thought it kind
of slow, but it sure picked up the pace and kept my attention.
It ended too soon. I am now a huge fan of Jak. He is incredibly
funny and entertaining. I can't say that I have much to compare
them to as we didn't attend any other shows during our stay
but I am such a fan of this group now and I cannot wait to go
back and see them again. In my opinion, they deserve this award.

Oh my, where do I start? I saw this show with
my three sisters. We were on the edge of our seats the whole
time with our mouths wide open in awe of what we were hearing.
They were amazing. These brothers are very blessed with so much
talent, Branson should be proud to have them! It was so entertaining,
to think that they made all that sound with their voices, no
instruments involved, and the final result, the harmonizing
was superb! Our family grew up with Barbershop and Sweet Adeline
music, so the four of us sisters really enjoyed and appreciated
the talent of these six brothers. The tribute to the veterans
at the end, I don't think there was a dry eye in the theatre,
we were all standing, wow! Keep it up SIX, we'll be back!

Why am I voting for SIX??? Simply because they
are the absolute best show in Branson. I've seen them perform
several years ago when they were known by their name, the Knudsen
Brothers, and loved them then. They have done nothing but improve!
Their range of variety in music was wonderful. They are equally
talented when singing any type of music fom country to pop to
"oldies" or gospel. Also, I really enjoyed their tribute
to their mother. That woman must have been a saint to raise
10 boys, and I'm sure she was truly blessed to see how they
turned out. I vote for SIX!

SIX was the last and best show I saw in Branson.
I knew nothing about the group before I saw them perform and
was amazed by their creativity, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
I still can't believe there wasn't musical accompaniment! I
loved their song selection; it brought back memories throughout
my many years. Their interaction with the audience was outstanding;
that's something that can't be rehearsed. I had a hard time
selecting my favorite performer, as they each added something
special to the group and probably could be a success as an individual.
Together, though, they triumph. It was a delightful performance
which made me proud to be an American and happy I could just
relax and forget my personal stresses and world problems. I
have told all my friends not to miss it and I hope they soon

Well, how can you write a 100 word review - when
this show leaves you speechless?? My husband & I have seen
this show about 7 times, since SIX came to Branson. We've taken
several family members & friends to see them too. We all
leave the show feeling the same every time -- AMAZED! These
guys are so talented, you just can't seem to put it into words
how enjoyable they are to watch. We've recommended the show
to numerous people & they all have the same reaction - blown
away! We love the fact that they use different types of music
than the typical Branson shows. Their harmony & choreography
are so top notch, you know that they are dedicated to the hard
work it takes to make it flawless. Even their wardrobe seems
to fit their personality. And for great comedy, all you have
to do is mention the name JAK - enough said! There is one question
everyone always has after they see SIX --- how do they do that???

We visit Branson every year and it is the highlight
of our family trip to see SIX! The kids, ages 11 & 14 now,
still ask to see SIX!, even though we own every CD, and they
know every song and comedy skit by heart. The amazing talent
is inspiring each time we hear them. Their energy can't be topped.
I believe it was last year, we actually saw the show twice in
the same week, because we ran into friends who had never seen
it. They were blown away by their enthusiasm and talent. We
definitely didn't mind paying to see the exact same show twice
in the same week, because it's by far the best show in Branson.
I'm not sure we'll go next year, (we probably will--if we can
get medical bills paid) unless we hear there's new music or
merchandise, since we have it all already. We definitely tell
everyone we know that they must see SIX! when they go to Branson

when they get there, they are so amazed and always please

When you see SIX you will experience The dynamic
musical performance of 6 brothers. The sound experience of this
show alone is worth the price of admission. It's something you
just won't hear anywhere else. It is totally unbeleivable even
for the greatest of musical acts in the world. No exaggeration. The
choreography is just awesome, it's eye popping, exciting, &
really holds your attention. Everything Is performed live
so during the performance you almost feel like the whole thing
could fall apart at any moment but it doesn't. It really keeps
you on edge. The brothers are hysterically funny and are
so humble which adds even more to their onstage charm, charisma
and hunger for the audiences applause. There is no fluff in
this show that would cause you to look at your watch or think
about when it'll be over. It keeps you enthralled & thouroughly
entertained the whole way through. The show also features
a tribute to their late mother who raised ten boys. The last
3 numbers are emotional as they are incredible and are a true
testament to the power of the human heart & spirit.
It's almost unreal how these guys are probabably
one of the best live acts in the world and at the same time,
These are great family men well rooted and who
are a living example of what Branson is all about. God, Family,

Incredible talent with the singers and the vocal
drum, jazz sounds. The brothers creatively introduce themselves
as real brothers. A variety of music was sung and heard, a fast
paced show, costume changes, character changes, all held my
interest. This show, unlike others's in town, are boring after
awhile. Not so with SIX; never a dull moment to keep the show
interesting with music appropriately placed to keep one on a
high and excited note, then bring them down to another level;
perhaps a love story or simply a wide array of emotions were
performed. It is so good that I didn't want it to end. Many
observations on the Theatre itself which was not respective

It was beyond fantastic! Even my 8 year old really

The wide variety of music is really appealing to all age groups.
The humor is appropriate for family‚s which is a real
plus. The performers where personable as was the staff and very
customer friendly to deal with. The venue was comfortable and
the sound system was great! This is a show that we will see

I don't attend shows very often and was a little
skeptical. SIX was "absolutely fantastic". There was
not one of the brothers that did not perform to the best of
their ability. Playing different instruments with "no instruments"
was truly amazing. The youngest brother paid special attention
to an older woman like me on the front row which made me walk
away as a special new fan forever. I would go back to Branson

the music they sang was music I grew up with. I can`t wait to

When my husband and I traveled to Branson we had
no idea of the talent that would be there. We came in March
when many of the bigger names had not yet arrived and I'm so
glad we did. We may have chosen different shows and missed out
on Shows like SIX and PIERCE ARROW. To see six young men produce
the sound that SIX did without the use of musical instruments
was amazing--never have we seen anything like that or expect
to again without a ticket to SIX. The song dedicated to the
mother which was written by her son was just great and we were
there the night that Dad came to see his sons also. We were
fortunate enough to have front row seats and to be picked on
playfully by Curtis and Jak which made it even more special.
Talent like this should be shared with the whole United States

chosen this as their venue. BRAVO Branson and SIX for making

SIX is the choice above all others for Best Show.
Whether you see it once or 50 times, it is still the most energetic,
entertaining show we have seen. This summer I took relatives
from Germany to see almost every show. They loved them all,
but wanted to go back again and again to see SIX. They were
sad that the SIX DVD wasn't ready for sale before they left
because they wanted to go home, invite friends and have a SIX
party. They will tell all their traveling friends that Branson
is a great destination, and that SIX will be the highlight.
All the brothers are perfectionists, and have
phenomenal skills both vocally and with their "instrument
ability." Knowing they have no back up band, taped music,
or anything phony makes their show so amazing. The variety of
music‚ is enjoyed by all ages. The many of us older folks
love their Beach Boys, and DoWop music. The younger folks love
hearing Owen sing "With Or Without You." All ages
enjoy the intense energy and the fact that while very musically
talented they are also funny, and have their tender moments
to like when they dedicate a song to their mother.
Each of the singers is great in their own area.
Owen is amazing both vocally and with his drumming. Jak is crazy
funny, and keeps the stage alive, and when he hits those low
notes it rumbles throughout the theater. Lynn morphs into Frank
Sinatra as soon as the hat hits his head, and I could close
my eyes and see him there. Kevin has a dry sense of humor and
a wonderful voice. Curtis is fun, and hit the high notes and
plays a mean electric guitar. Barry really is out there with
great talent and a wonderful voice singing crazy high notes
and making you believe that he is the original singer of our
favorite songs as well as playing the horn beautifully.
I especially loved the ending song "Proud
To Be An American." They do it well, and address the audience
as a whole and still honor the veterans both past and present
along with their families left behind.

SIX is absolutely the best all around show that
I have ever seen. The harmony was outstanding; the way they
performed was unbelievable. The comedy was hilarious. It was
very family oriented and that's important. I have never heard
anything like their show, ever. I think they were the best accapella
group I have ever heard...so good, that at first, I thought
they were using a recorded trac. To my surprise, every sound
they made was live and was the guys. Each of the SIX guys were
very talented, each making their own sound as they sang each
of the songs they performed. The different styles were remarkable...from
Frank Sinatra to Wayne Newton to to Elvis to the the Beach Boys.
I especially enjoyed the song that Lynn wrote in memory of their
Mother. It was also very nice to see their Dad in the audience.
He taught them well. I understand that they have only been in

Six is a one of a kind group. We were amazed that
you could make sounds like musical instruments with your voice.
They had everything so well put together that you never saw

thought that the musical instruments I was hearing was dubbed

about our health problems and life in general. We even brought
all of our children and grandchildren to the show last Christmas
and all ages loved the show.
They are in our opinion the hottest show in Branson.
We play their tapes all of the time and recommend
it to others and share our experiences with them
We hope they will stay in Branson for a long time
so we can come and see them entertain. Keep up the great work
SIX and keep those songs and notes coming.

I'm voting for the Best show in Branson...SIX.
I have seen it many times and I recommend everyone I know and
even don't know to see it. These six brothers are the most talented
guys in Branson. The quality of their voices is unbeatable.
The Families of these guys are also wonderful. All the wives
and children help and support them in unbelievable measures.
The Family atmosphere is wonderful. I love to bring my grandkids
there. You do not have to worry what they will hear. Just super
harmony, comedy, gospel and so many kinds of music. I say walk
down memory lane or hear the new music with these SIX guys.
I am going again Fri. and again for Christmas. When you hear
the excitement of the crowds, you will be thinking of when you
can see them again!!!

SIX
Hughes Brothers Theater
After seeing numerous shows in Branson over the
past week, we were certain that what we had seen and experienced
just couldn't be beat. We were wrong! Within 2 minutes of the
opening of the show "SIX", my wife and I knew we were
in for the experience of a lifetime.
The unbelievable talent of these "SIX"
brothers is simply amazing. The combination of sight, sound,
and audience interaction made this show the "BEST"
show in Branson.
Our vote counts and we vote "SIX" as
the best show in Branson. We'll be telling all our friends and
family about this show for years to come.

SIX
Hughes' Brothers Theather
SIX is the best show in Branson hands down! I
was there with the Navigators for the summer and many of us
went to watch the show multiple times. My roommate and I watched
it 6 times without ever getting tired of it! In fact, none of
us got tired of the show and always found it very entertaining.
SIX would be the show we brought our families to watch whenever
they visited for the summer and everyone agreed that nothing
could top SIX.
After watching over 12 different shows in Branson
during the summer, we came to the conclusion that the others
just weren't as good.
The combination of vocals, comedy, charisma, and
energy makes this show the BEST in Branson.
Each of the Six brothers are also very friendly.
They would remember our names and even visit us at Silver Dollar
City whenever they were there!
All I'm waiting for now is for their DVD to be
released so I can show it to all my friends back home!
