The Branson Critic Awards Announced:

Branson’s People’s Choice Awards

Branson Critic would like to announce the winners of the 2005 Branson Critic People’s Choice Awards.

Branson Critic is a network of volunteer writers who offer fair reviews of Branson shows, attractions, and lodging.  It also allows readers to contribute their own show reviews.  The website is a place to find out what “normal” everyday people think about Branson shows.  This helps families make informed decisions about the shows and attractions that will be best for them.

For the second year, Branson Critic will be handing out awards to some of the best shows and performers in Branson.  The best part is, the public chose the winners.  Readers submitted nomination reviews for the shows they would like to see nominated and in September & October almost 4000 people participated by voting for their favorites.

The winners are Best Show:  Darren Romeo – The Voice of Magic, Best Performer:  Tony Roi – The Elvis Experience, Best Singer:  Bucky Heard – Legends in Concert, Best Band:  The Haygoods, and Best Comedian: Terry Sanders - Grand Jubilee.

Two special awards will also be given from the editors of Branson Critic as “Editor’s Pick for Branson Must See Shows.”  The two shows receiving these awards include The Hamner Barber Variety Show and the Circle B Chuckwagon Dinner Show.

The honors will be handed out the week of November 22-26, 2005.  The exact dates and times of the presentations can be found at www.bransoncritic.org.  The shows and performers will be recognized LIVE on stage during their own show.   Fans and the public are encouraged to make reservations and see their favorite shows and entertainers be recognized.  For more information visit www.BransonCritic.org or to make show reservation call the show(s) box office directly.
