June Blog ArchiveLatest show reviews for June▼ ► Tony Roi at Branson's Graceland My husband and I go to see Tony Roi, at least once a month if possible. He has this incredible voice that just lifts your spirits and makes you want to fly. Every time I go, I sit in my chair and wait with such anticipation for him to come on stage. It’s such a good feeling, my heart is beating so fast, and then I hear his voice from behind the curtain and then there he is. His hips swaying and his voice just melting me right there in my seat. DH 2:00 ►I just recently went to the Haygoods show this past week. I had only been once before in 2005 Christmas, but I was IMMEDIATELY hooked. This show is more than just a show. It gives you a feeling inside that you NEVER want to let go of. It's like you're not even yourself because of the insane fun you get to have, by simply sitting there! DH 12:00 ►Fans Keep Coming Back for Tony What is an EXPERIENCE? An experience is an event or an occurrence that leaves a lasting impression, Tony sure does that all right, all you have to do is see his show one time and you will leave there with a lasting impression that will keep you coming back for more. Here are a couple of times that we seen Tony one is a Monday night and the other is our Fan day where some of the Tony fans gathered to support him along with a huge crowd. DH 11:00 ►Our family of 5 attended the show in March. We had seen 'The Haygoods' quite a few times at Silver Dollar City, dating as far back as 1995 but had not been back to see them since they had their own venue. DH 10:30 ►Is that you, Elvis? We all know Elvis Presley was the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll! Well, let me tell you, Tony Roi is the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in Branson, Missouri! DH 9:30 ►Please nominate Liverpool Legends for 'Show Of The Year' The Liverpool Legends…a name synonymous with the Legendary Beatles. Is being recognized and praised as the #! Best Beatles Tribute Show in the United States & Overseas. Kevin (aka John Lennon), Davey( aka Paul McCartney) , Marty (aka George Harrison) & last but definitely not least Joe (aka Ringo) have the charisma, looks, mannerisms, voice and so many similarities to “The Beatles” DH 6:30 ►New Show - Amanda Cuttin' Loose Amanda - Cuttin' Loose at the Legacy's Live Theater. The show will feature Amanda and a red hot band performing contemporay county music as well as Amanda's original songs. DH 5:30 ►Branson Brother's and Homer Lee - Just Fantastic Branson Brother's were fantastic, they sang a variety of songs. Jimmy, Dee, and Andre were excellent, we loved the harmony, the variety, fast moving, and so entertaining. DH 4:30 ►

Medley/Paul Revere and the Raiders My husband and recently went to Branson for a romantic 'weekend getaway' to celebrate our 20th Anniversary on June 20. We had been ‘first loves’ in 1967, with "Unchained Melody" as our song. We later broke up and married others but that song would bring a flood of memories whenever we heard it all those years. In 1985 we found each other single again after 18 years and married in June 1986. DH 3:30 Permalink ►Could He Be For Real - Tony Roi My husband and I went to Branson on vacation with six other couples. We were only planning on seeing a couple of shows while in town. When I saw that there was an Elvis show, I had to go. The Music City Center was a really nice theatre. All of the employees were very friendly and courteous. DH 2:30 Permalink ►A couple of years ago my six year old daughter fell in Love with Elvis when she heard the songs on Lilo and Stitch Movie. Her Dream was to someday meet him. Kasey is a six year old who has Down syndrome. So for me to try to get her to understand she couldn't never meet him was hard. DH 5:30 Permalink ►New theatre in Branson, MO. DH 1:30 Permalink ►I absolutely love dancing, and Irish dancing in particular, so when we scheduled our trip to Branson, I knew we simply had to go see Spirit of the Dance. I was *extremely* disappointed. As an amateur dancer, I could pick out all the "fake" in this show. Although to an untrained eye the show may look nice, I could not enjoy the show because of all the "tricks" that the performers played on the audience. DH 5:30 Permalink ►A Delightful Surprise - Darren Romeo This show is a delightful surprise! My husband, along with my parents, aunt and uncle, arrived in Branson late one summer evening. We stopped on the way into Branson at a ticket/information place to book some shows for the following day. On the recommendation of the sales people there, we were given recommendations on what shows we would be interested in seeing. DH 7:30 Permalink ►OK all you fans out there - here are the facts - the "play by play" (that’s sports talk) - of the TONY ROI’S ELVIS EXPERIENCE!! DH 6:30 Permalink ►Darren Romeo was truly the best show we have seen in Branson. We have been to 2 other magic shows as well as several variety shows over the past 10 years, and Romeo truly was the best out of all of them. The illusions are unique and mesmerizing. The music is awesome. He incorporates Broadway, oldies and even some later music all into one show. DH 6:30 Permalink ►2006 Branson Critic Award Nominations We have started adding nominees to the 6 categories we have this year. We will add nominees as the year goes. Voting ends October 1, 2006. Remember these are early and not the final number. DH 12:30 Permalink ►Editor MissKim 6-21-06: It all started with the baby of the family. Three years ago, for my son's 9th birthday, he asked to go see Dixie Stampede. Although we'd been to Branson a half dozen times, we had yet to see a show, and mom thought that Dixie Stampede sounded like a great show for our first. DH 10:30 Permalink ►
Entertainers Of Branson Agree - Tony Roi Is The Must See Show 6/21/06 How do you get better as an artist?? This is the question anyone who sees The Tony Roi Experience at Music City Center asks after they see the show again. If you stand outside the theater after his shows you will hear that very same question. Many people say they can't believe that he gets better and better. Just when you think you've seen it all, he sings a new song, adds new footage to his screen or adds new moves. DH 1:30 Permalink ►Texas French Chicks Were Rockin' With Tony Roi 6/19/06 I didn't know what I had been missing until I saw Tony Roi's show in November 2005. I went to his show expecting another hum, drum "Elvis" impersonator, but was I ever surprised! I was totally infatuated with his marvelous impersonation of Elvis Presley, "The King of Rock and Roll", whose music I have always loved. DH 9:20 Permalink ►Magic of Taylor Reed - Fun and lots of audience interaction! 6/16/06 Wow! I attended the show on 6/10/06 and had a great time. The show was great for the whole family. Taylor does an awesome job doing tricks with the kids. He gets the whole audience involved. DH 3:20 Permalink ►Tony Roi's Fan Appreciation Day 6/16/06 On May 27,2006
was Tony Roi's official Fan Club meeting. As many that could, came
and we had a Great time getting to know each other. You see , we all
have one thing in common and that is our love for the best
entertainer of all time , "Tony Roi". DH 3:20 Permalink ►6/16/06 It was HOT HOT
HOT at Tony's House for Fan Appreciation Day on May 27th. DH 3:20 Permalink ►6/14/06 Gallagher has taken the concept of food processing to new heights...For the first time ever in Branson, Gallagher, the comedy legend, recent California gubernatorial candidate and presidential candidate, will shower the audience with humor, pureed fruit salad and other food groups from June 16 through Sept. 4 at the Moe Bandy Theatre. DH 5:20 Permalink ►6/14/06 Hello, my name is Chisai Childs and I have lived and worked in the Branson show biz for almost 30 years. I met Kirby Vanburch almost 10 years ago taking my then young grandchildren to the show. I not only then loved his magic but the enter action with the families after the show. DH 11:20 Permalink ►6/13/06 There are no billboards, posters or rack cards for this show, which is now in its second season. The show is not listed along any of the other shows in any guidebooks and tickets are not available at any of the local ticket outlets. Despite all of this, the Cabaret show in Branson, Missouri consistently draws a sizeable audience each and every performance. DH 7:20 Permalink ►The Liverpool Legends - Unbelievably Talented and Believable as The Beatles! 6/12/06 While in Branson for the Elvis Explosion at the Lodge of the Ozarks, I had the opportunity to journey across the street to the Caravelle Theatre where a new show has just begun to take Branson by storm. The group performing there call themselves “The Liverpool Legends” and they perform a very special tribute to the British rock group “The Beatles!” I was so blown away by the first performance, that I was drawn there again for a second performance! DH 9:50 Permalink ►An Evening With The Branson Brothers 6/12/06 Oh my word what a show! I recently spent another evening at the Branson Brothers Show where I was very happily entertained. This is not your run of the mill cookie cutter Branson show. One will not find himself watching the show, very politely clapping at the end of each song and then folding ones hands back in his lap until the end of the next song. This is a feel good get down kind of show.

Permalink ►Best Surprise in Branson - 14 Karat Country 6/12/06 As veteran Branson trippers my wife and I are always looking for shows in the area that we have not seen before. I came across the 14 Karat Country show but almost passed it by. The show is not well promoted and I was familiar with the restaurant type location that was advertised. I obtained some 2-for-1 tickets for the show so I thought I would take a chance on it. DH 9:30 Permalink ►6/6/06 There was a big EXPLOSION at the Lodge of the Ozarks in Branson this past Memorial Day Weekend. But the REAL FIREWORKS were down at the other end of the strip at Tony Roi’s House – Music City Centre!! DH 2:30 Permalink ► Continue; more great articles in our recent archives2006
