Perhaps one of the best kept secrets in Branson is a group playing regularly at the Hughes Brothers Celebrity Theatre. Goldwing Express is a family that gets back to basics--bluegrass, country, gospel--more like the down-home culture that Branson was founded on. DH 12:50 DH 1:50 ►
Please welcome the Show Me Branson Sisters as new editors to Branson Critic. They are two of the most generous people to have participated on our site. With Over 20 reviews between them, I begged they join us as editors and become part of the BC family, and they did. Not only do they display incredible writing skills, but they have a wonderful way of entertaining their readers with what they see and perceive most of us viewers would like to know. Branson Critic is lucky to have them- Doug DH 1:50 ► I am a long time Elvis fan; I have seen all of his movies and have several of his CD’s and honestly, some impersonators ruin Elvis’ memory for me. DH 1:50 ► Young Cody Slaughter Dares To Rock and Wins! Step back in time with me for a moment or two. The year is 1950. A 15-year old boy might be seen roaming the streets of Memphis, going to the movies, hanging out at the local record shop or stopping off at the corner soda fountain. DH 12:50 ► John and George aren’t dead – They’re in Branson!
Coming back from Silver Dollar City
last month, we were inching along DH 12:50 ► The Grand Band is the Grandest The Grand Band provides the full spectrum of music for the Grand Jubilee, Comedy Jamboree, and the Late Night Live Radio Broadcast on Friday's. From classic and modern country, early 50's rock through the present, bluegrass, Motown, R&B, and any other sound the production calls for, these six guys perform it with precision. DH 12:50 ► The Rebirth of the Branson Brothers The shake-up at the “other theatre” last year was shattering and pivotal to the birth of a much better and a more innovative creation, hence, the birth of the Branson Brothers Show featuring Terry Sanders with Diana Ponder and Natalie Nicole. DH 12:50 ► Hamner and Barber to Receive International Magicians Awards
Branson entertainers Dave & Denise
Hamner and Jim Barber will each be DH 10:50 ► GRAND JUBILEE IS TOP SHOW IN BRANSON My wife and I agree the Grand Jubilee, with the New South Quartet and the Grand Band, is our favorite show in Branson. Yes, we have seen Shoji, Ray Stevens, Andy Williams, the Gatlin Brothers, Doug Gabriel etc., but the show we keep going back to see year after year is the Grand Jubilee. DH 2:50 ► Okay, so after checking out your site, I noticed the name TONY ROI keeps popping up. I thought I'd see what all the buzz was about. So, I go to this Music City Center Theatre. I'm going to see this musical, "magical", "medicinal", joy-bringing man who is at least the equal of ELVIS. DH 11:50 ► My wife and I saw Lisa Layne’s show portraying Patsy Cline at Legacy’s Live Theater on 1 July 2006. We saw four shows that day and none of the others were of the same caliber as Lisa portraying Patsy Cline at four different venues in her career; early radio, first Grand Ole Opry appearance, Las Vegas, and Carnegie Hall. DH 11:50 ► Life In Texas Without "Tony Roi"
Gee, it seems that time has been
standing still since my last visit to Branson. DH 11:50 ► Best family friendly show for every culture! Hosting internationals from all backgrounds and countries is a challenge. When deciding to take our group to Branson we needed a show that would be enjoyable for all cultures and ages. DH 4:50 ► 7-10-06: One of our favorite things to do in Branson is trying out the various eating establishments. A few weekends ago, my husband and I were in town and I decided I wanted to eat. I suggested stopping at Leona's Deli and Joe readily agreed. We've eaten there several times before and knew what to expect. DH 9:50 ► King of Illusions - Kirby VanBurch As a working newspaper for a chain of newspapers in Arkansas, I make frequent trips to Branson and use the opportunities to obtain research and resource information for travel articles and columns for our publications. DH 1:50 ► Hello again from South Dakota. My husband, Gene, and I went to see Tony Roi's show last fall. Gene wrote a review in January after much prodding by his two cousins, who are among Tony's biggest fans. We had hoped to be able to go see the show again but just haven't been able to make the trip. Maybe later this year. DH 1:50 ► An Afternoon You Won’t Regret – The Branson Brothers What a way to spend an afternoon!! Recently my family spent the afternoon at the Branson Brothers Show. The two hours flew by, we were all entertained and amazed with the talent displayed by everyone in the show. We have followed Homer Lee, Jimmy & Diana Ponder and Dee Allen for many years. DH 10:50 ► 7-5-06 Jami Asselin: I have been to several circuses as a child and have taken my children to see a few that have come to town. However I dare to say they can not hold a candle to the Cirque experience. We were entertained before the show even started. DH 4:50 ► A Daughters View - The Joy of Tony Roi I have only seen Tony Roi twice in person – BUT I see him every single day here in Olathe, Kansas. My mom shares this home with me - she is Shirley, otherwise now known as Sylvia, for reasons known only to those close to Tony Roi and his fans!! Everyone who reads Branson Critic is aware that she has a Tony Shrine in her room – it’s grown a lot since the last review I wrote for Tony – last October!! DH 2:00 ►We finally had the opportunity to see The Branson Brothers show on July 1, 2006 and it was wonderful. DH 12:00 ►
Missouri’s artisans and craftsmen are encouraged to "audition" their wares for inclusion in the offerings of Branson’s newest shopping experience, A Taste of Missouri, scheduled to open mid-July on east Hwy. 76. DH 11:00 ►Passionate Performers - Haygoods
Going to the Haygoods
show has become a family tradition for us whenever we DH 6:00 ►
I have been trying to decide how I can possibly write a review of Tony’s show when so many good things have already been said. I finally decided I had to try because I have enjoyed his shows so very much and I felt much younger and happier after seeing him. DH 8:00 ►Continue; more great articles in our recent archives2006
