3-30-06 Important Announcement...Dear Friends and Fans, We wish to
inform you that
 Delene
has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. The doctors are 99% sure it
is a cancerous tumor. They are unable to biopsy or operate without
causing brain damage. Delene is undergoing treatment for the tumor
and for the symptoms it presents which include headaches and loss of
balance.
The tumor was discovered while Delene was in Arizona where she has
been performing for the past several weeks. She began complaining of
headaches and dizziness and an exam and further tests revealed the
tumor. She will be back home in the Branson area at the end of this
week.
There are plans in the works for a benefit concert including Branson
performers to help defray medical costs so stay tuned for further
information.

Doug Gabriel
3-30-06 Heath Hawkins: I am almost
embarrassed to admit this, but I severely underestimated the Doug
Gabriel Morning Show. My regular readers know that I love the comedy
shows. I often choose a show based on how funny I think it will be.
I like music, but I love comedy. After seeing the ads for the Doug
Gabriel Show I saw no mention of comedy, so I was very apprehensive
about seeing the show. I just knew I would not enjoy it.

Expecting Big Things - Branson Brothers
3-29-06 After reading Heath’s and BP’s
review of The Branson Brothers Show I felt I needed to write
a review myself. I have to agree with BP; the bands never get the
credit they deserve! If it weren’t for these talented people backing
the singers up, some of the show would just lose their appeal.

What About The Band?
3-29-06 I just read Heath’s review on
the Branson Brothers show. He did a great job on it. I just
have one comment; I am a musician. I have played for many years.
(And still do) Why is it that when a show in Branson, Missouri is
reviewed, the band is NEVER mentioned?

3-29-06 I saw Spirit of The Dance just
a few days ago. It was interesting to note how many of the points
made by another reviewer almost two years ago seemed as if they
could have written about the performance I attended.

The Branson Brothers Show
I knew that I had to see the most
talked about new show of the 2006 season. The Branson Brothers have
had their new show up and running for less than a month, but there
has certainly been a lot of buzz surrounding them. I wanted to go
see what all the talk was about. DH

What's In A Name? - Tony Roi
3-27-06 What's in a name? Plenty--if you take the following example.
Admittedly, I don't know if Tony Roi is the man's true name or if
that particular handle is a stage name. Whichever it is, I'll have
to say, it is appropriate in his case. Let's take the name "Roi".
What does it mean? "Roi" (or "Roy") is French for the word King.

the resort city of Branson on Monday, killing all aboard, the
Federal Aviation Administration said.

Seats Should Have Seatbelts - Tony Roi
3-17-06 I had my calendar marked for March 2, 2006. This was one
special day that seemed like it never would arrive. This had been
one of the longest winters ever.......and I felt like a teenager
again.......eagerly awaiting for the BIG EVENT......opening day for
the ELVIS EXPERIENCE WITH TONY ROI!!!

Flips, Comedy, and Music - Haygoods
3-16-06 Wow! Just when we thought these boys, and girl, couldn’t get
any better they came out and shocked us to death. I’m one of their
“teenage” fans but speaking for my whole family and a lot of other
families that I know, this family can entertain not only the young.

Tony's Lookin' In My Country Eyes

Thanks to my sister I got to see Tony my first time in Dec of 2005.
Never once expecting anything more than seeing someone do a tribute
to Elvis and since my sister and I had been going to lots of shows
around and seen some good and not so good, I just wasn’t sure what
to expect.

The King Is Gone - Ronnie McDowell
3-11-06 On Saturday, March 4th, my sister and I were privileged to
be in Branson and able to get tickets to the Ronnie McDowell Show!
He was playing at the fabulous Welk Resort Theatre for a limited
2-show engagement.

Opening Day At Tony’s House 2006
3-08-06 Opening day at Tony’s house was Thursday, March 2nd. My
sister and I were also there for the Friday and Saturday shows. Each
was better than the one before it, and it’s only the beginning!!

Branson Itch: Branson
Critic Editor Plans First Trip of 2006
3-07-06 You can call me
crazy or maybe even insane, but one thing you can’t call me is
bored. The week of March 20-23, 2006 I have my first trip of the
year planned for B-Town and lets just say it is packed. I have 4
days, 9 shows, 2 museums and a 3-month-old baby boy.

Branson's Brightest, Magical, Musical Star
3-04-06 In my opinion, Darren Romeo should receive the awards for
“Best Performer” and “Best Show.” Darren is a complete package so it
is difficult to choose just one reason why he deserves these awards,
so I will give you many reasons why he would be the perfect choice.
