An
Afternoon You Won’t Regret – The Branson Brothers
What a way to spend an afternoon!!
Recently my family spent the afternoon at the
Branson Brothers Show.
The two hours flew by, we were all entertained and amazed with the
talent displayed by everyone in the show. We have followed Homer
Lee, Jimmy & Diana Ponder and Dee Allen for many years. The move to
the new theater and new group I believe has truly been the best for
these entertainers.

As you arrive at the theater, you are greeted and seated by the one
and only Homer Lee. He makes you feel welcome for the moment you
step foot into the theater.
As
you are being seated, he is getting to know you. Just simple
questions, what brought you to Branson, how long is your stay, were
you are from and even a funny story about were you might be from. Of
course, he remembers everything, sometimes even includes you or your
family in his monologue. What a way to make you feel welcome and a
part of their show.
Once the performance begins, you are entertained non stop. One of
the things that I love about this show is the wardrobe changes, from
jeans to tuxes are all tastefully done.
The trio of Jimmy Ponder, Dee Allen and Andre Shephard –
outstanding!
You
are entertained with a wide variety of music, a little country,
gospel and rock and roll. Diana Ponder and Natalie Nicole are a real
treat. Diana has a lovely voice and Natalie’s request to Mom to sing
her favorite, “I Honestly Love You”, is phenomenal. The band is
awesome, each member compliments each other. You can tell they love
what they are doing!
What would a show be without Homer Lee, Grandma Beulah, his American
Idol rendition, River Dance and Joan Rivers? You are in stitches,
the entire time. How does he do it?
The closing with the salute to the Veterans brought tears to my
eyes. The music comes from the heart.
The Branson Brothers is a show
that no matter what your age, you will enjoy!
