Branson Brothers - Must See

branson brothersWe finally had the opportunity to see The Branson Brothers show on July 1, 2006 and it was wonderful. We have seen Jimmy Ponder in every venue he has been in, including the original “Branson Brothers” down in Echo Hollow in Silver Dollar City. I am so glad to be able to see him in a new show there because Branson just wouldn’t be Branson without him. They really have a great group together now and I tell everyone I know that it is a “must see” show if they are going to Branson. Of course, I was telling them that before I ever saw the show. Terry and Jimmy will always be a “must see”.

I don’t know how Terry Sanders keeps going the way he does. The only answer that comes to mind is that he loves what he does. And, he does it so well. He has new routines for this show and, as usual, he is a riot. I never get tired of his humor and style and am constantly surprised by his talent that never fails. I think he enjoys it almost as much as we do.

Diana and her daughter are beautiful and talented and I enjoyed their songs and routines. Natalie has a flair for comedy and it’s a plus for the show. It is a really fast paced show and though it is the normal two hours, it seemed to be over much too soon.

Dee Allen has a beautiful voice and I enjoyed hearing him again. Andre’ is very talented and adds a lot to the show. The three of them together make a fantastic trio. Jimmy’s vocal range makes it possible to enjoy all their voices together and their solos were terrific. The band sounded great and it was good to see Brad Allen there, too. He is another big plus for the show.

I also like that it is not a glitzy show. The suits they wear are fashionable and neat and don’t distract from the pure talent.

Altogether Branson Brothers is a totally different type of show I enjoyed every minute of it and can hardly wait to see it again and again.
