How To Vote

This page is designed to help Branson Fans understand the rules of the 2006 Awards that will be presented in November of 2006.  Reviews sent in from October 31, 2005, thru October 1, 2006, will count for the 2006 Branson Critic Awards.

Question: How do I vote for my favorite singer or show so that they can be nominated in August, 2006?

Answer:  Since this is a fan's website for the Branson Show community, and a site that encourages volunteer writing of reviews, we decided last year that reviews are what gets the Branson Critic Editors' attention. 

Without a review, people outside of Branson will not benefit from the wisdom of choice that one would make from casting a vote.  Pressing a vote button is ok, but a lengthy review tells the story of why a particular fan thinks a show/person is valuable enough to receive an award above all others. 

Without the reviews, the general public would become bored with the process and wonder if the data is rigged for a certain outcome.  On the contrary, if a show-goer writes a review at length, with passion and adding important information from a viewpoint only that individual can make - it is gold to the decision-makers and the public. 

Rules 2006

• This year, large reviews of over 300 words will be counted as 3 votes, and an extra vote for pictures they take at show.  That could be 4 votes for your show.

• Small reviews will count as one vote, and they must say more than "he's, like, the greatest."

• Remember to write an individual review for a specific performer.  You can write a review for a show and then write a review for a specific person in that show.  Why?  Very few singers, comedians, or band members have their own show, so point them out to us, individually.

• Two reviews from each computer will be allowed every 3 months for each show.  As shows change so should the reviews.  With over a hundred shows, you could literally write hundreds of reviews per 3 months.

• Best Band

• Best Comedian

• Best Show

• Best Singer

• Best Musician

• Best Morning Show
