Justin Flom:
Experience Illusion opens May 2
with benefit for Christian Action Ministries
Opening night for the youngest headliner and illusionist in
Branson,
Justin Flom: Experience Illusion, will benefit Christian Action
Ministries. Admission to preview the show on Monday, May 2, and Tuesday,
May 3, at 5 p.m. at Branson Mall Music Theatre is a non-perishable food
item.
Even though Flom is only 19, he has been performing the art of illusion
for over 16 years. His award-winning magic has been featured for
audiences all around the United States of America as well as in eight
different countries. His magic has been featured numerous times on
television in the states, as well as on national television in the
country of Peru. The president of the Fellowship of Christian Magicians,
Steve Varro, calls him "the next David Copperfield." He has also been
called "the new face of magic."
Born into a family of entertainers, Flom started by performing with his
parents on stage.
"I can't remember most of that time because much of it was spent in
trunks and dark boxes," he joked.
Experience Illusion will be presented at 5 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and
Fridays at the Branson Mall Music Theatre. The show features
unforgettable illusions, sidesplitting comedy with Flom’s duck, Juan,
and beautiful magic with the assistance of the lovely and talented April
Frerking. Especially moving is a veterans tribute that Flom went so far
as to get special permission from the military department for part of
the act to be included in his fast moving show for the whole family.
"I have a passion for the art of illusion; but my real passion lies in
evangelism through creative and effective means. I use magic and
illusion to catch people's eyes, so they listen with their ears, so God
can touch their hearts. I am eager to become part of the beautiful
Branson community and to help Christian Action Ministries during opening
night of my new show," said Flom.
Katie Stinnett, manager of Christian Action Ministries Pantry, said, "I
am especially pleased to be informed of this benefit show and happy to
be able to tell about our most pressing needs. Because school will soon
be out and summer will be here families will have to feed kids two more
meals a day, something the school lunch program is doing for free for
these needy families."
With the added demand, the pantry especially needs kids’ breakfast foods
and the only thing the pantry does not need at this time is green beans,
Stinnett said.
For reservations call the Branson Mall Music Theatre Box Office at
417-339-3939. The mall is located at 2206 West Hwy. 76.
