Sandi : Hi Sis!
Shirley: Well, here I am, now what??

Sandi : Well I guess we're supposed to write a bio for Doug at the Branson Critic!
Shirley: What do you think we should say??

Sandi : I don't know.
Shirley: This isn't getting us anywhere!!

Sandi : Well, I suppose people will want to know something about us.
Shirley: What's to know about two Norwegians from South Dakota??

Sandi : Yeah, they just might run the other way!
Shirley: Yes, especially if we don't shape up - we'll be fired before we start!! AND people are going to be BORED!!

Sandi : I suppose people will want to know how we came to this monumental moment?
Shirley: I remember only a little over a year ago, I wondered what a person would find to do in Branson for a WHOLE WEEK!!

Sandi : Yes, well, I've been coming to Branson several times a year since 1979 so I already had a clue!
Shirley: Well, I've been known to be CLUELESS - I used to be blonde before I was gray!!

Sandi : No comment! I guess we could tell them who you really came to Branson to see!
Shirley: Well, before I became addicted to Branson, I was addicted to all things Irish - so I came to see Daniel O'Donnell, then I found Tony Roi, and the rest is just a blur!!

Sandi : Yeah, I think the saying is the rest is "history." Goodbye Daniel, hello Tony!!!
Shirley: That's how it happened, all right!! If it hadn't been for Daniel and Tony, Tony, Tony, you and I wouldn't be sitting here in these editor outfits!!

Sandi : Huh? I'm wearing jeans and t-shirt! And, of course, my hat! Is that the proper uniform Doug?
Shirley: Don’t you ever take that thing off? Good thing nobody will see us - my wardrobe is limited!!

Sandi : Shut up about my hat! Guess it doesn't really matter in Branson if you wear your evening gown to a show that you are reviewing - but we have seen some “doozies!!”
Shirley: “Doozies” are everywhere!! And by the way, hats don’t go with evening gowns!

Sandi : What do you think about telling everyone about our families?
Shirley: Okay, I'll go first. I'm the oldest (but not too old) - I live with my youngest daughter, Tara, in Olathe, Kansas. Tara has her own grooming business and we have lots of dogs in the house. My oldest daughter, Tanya, also lives in Olathe. She is a pharmacist, has a husband and a lot of cats!! They both share my love of animals.

Sandi : That's good. I live in Overland Park, KS. I have a husband, Sandy (yes, we really do both have the same name), who is retired and waiting for me to do the same. I've worked for the Department of Agriculture for 32 plus years and I'm about ready to retire in another 3 1/2 years. Guess where we are going to retire??
Shirley: I used to have a husband once. You have to just rub it in about retiring in Branson, don't you??

Sandi : Yes, I know we'll have an almost permanent house guest then, right?
Shirley: Couldn't you just build me a little shack out back??

Sandi : Yes, well, maybe Doug could come over and help with that since he knows about that sort of thing.
Shirley: Hey, what a great idea!! Maybe we could get a discount!!

Sandi : Well, I guess we'll first have to do a great job for Bransoncritic!
Shirley: We'll sure try – if you hadn’t written that first Tony review last year and urged me to do the same, none of this would have ever happened.

Sandi: And once we got started writing, we discovered how much fun it was and we are now out of control!! Right, Doug?
Shirley: Pretty much!! I told Doug I wasn't sure I could write about anyone other than Tony, because his show is the one that got me started as a writer!! But I know there are a lot of other great shows in Branson, and I'm going to try REALLY hard to be UNBIASED!!

Sandi : Ok, everyone, you are witnesses now!!! Me, I love Tony also, but I'm the one addicted to Elvis! I also like other types of music, however. I've seen more shows in Branson than Sis and there really aren't too many that I can truly say I didn't enjoy. So we'll just have to get her to go see some of them!!!
Shirley: I promise to give all of them my fullest attention!! We need to shut up now and get to work picking out the first show for our first review together!!

Sandi : Ok, we'll let everyone know when we get there and hope you will all enjoy hearing from the "Show Me Branson Sisters!!"
