Haygoods/Michael Are Number 1

Timothy, Patrick, Dominic, Shawn, Michael, Matthew, Catherine, and Aaron. What do you get when you combine these 7 brothers and 1 sister? The best show in Branson! The Haygoods have been performing in Branson for 15 years now, and each year their show gets better and better. The songs change for every season, but their energy is always the same! This year they have a "trip through the decades" where they play 2 of their favorite songs from each decade, 1940's-1980's. During the 1940's, they play swing music, and the 6 oldest brothers absolutely rock with their dancing. Also, Dominic, Catherine, and Aaron all do an amazing job on the saxophone.

In the 1950's section, Michael gets to rock out and play Johney B. Goode on his guitar. Also, one lucky lady in the audience gets to come on stage and have Dominic and Michael sing "My Girl" to her. During the 1980's, Shawn and Michael play the Blues Brothers, which gets the entire audience laughing. They play with the audience, and have little jokes going on. They also get to show off their acrobatic moves with a trampoline.

The entire family has amazing energy throughout the show, and they have songs for everyone. My parents, grandparents, and little sister (12 years old) all loved the show. The Haygoods do a great job with reaching out and keeping everyone entertained the entire 2 hours. The seating in the theater is incredible...I have sat in the front row, and in the very last row, and I can see the show just the same either way.

A great number in the second half of the show is when the Haygoods get to tap dance. At first, the entire family is doing it, then the 5 oldest brothers take the stage and show everyone how good they really are. Another great number is the Orange Blossom Special...Haygood style.

The brothers, and Catherine, play the fiddle extremely well. With Michael's guitar and Matthew's bass guitar added in, it makes for a high energy number that will have everyone on their feet when they're done! The Haygoods really enjoy what they are doing, and that is shown during their show.

They are also extremely grateful to their fans, and they show this by coming out to talk with their fans, take pictures, and give autographs after every performance. This is one show in Branson that I would recommend to everyone...you won't be disappointed if you see it! "Hay, these guys are good! "Michael Haygood=best performer.

Michael Haygood is one of the best performers I have seen in a long time. He is a very talented singer, guitar player, and gymnast. One of my favorite songs during the Haygoods show that Michael does is Johnney B. Goode. He gets to let loose on his guitar and go crazy. He adds his own special touch to the song, but still keeps it like the original. He also does a back flip that is amazing, and can play the guitar behind his back.

Michael is the 5th out of 8 children in the Haygood family, and he keeps the audience laughing. During the love section, Michael tells a funny story, whether about a cow or a jelly doughnut, and everyone in the audience loves it. Also, when the family needs to stall for time, Michael will tell a little joke or story to keep the fun and energy going throughout the show. His energy is out of this world, and he keeps it up throughout the entire show.

The Haygoods also had 4 rock concerts this summer, that occurred after their regular show at 11pm, and Michael had the same amount of energy for those as he did for the show. This boy can do it all...sing, dance, play guitar, fiddle, and acrobatics. He may be young, but he is an amazing performer, who will keep getting better every year!
