Tony Roi - The Man

I went to see Tony Roi for my birthday a short time ago, and I just can’t begin to tell you how Tony made that day so special.

You see, My husband is such a wonderful guy, that he wanted to do something special. Let me tell you, It can’t be any more special that going to see Tony.

When we arrived at the theatre, Richard was greeting everyone and be so kind. Everyone there in that Theater is so nice and personable.

We sat down and waited for the show to start. The theatre is a really nice theatre and the seats are very comfortable. It is a smaller theatre, so there really isn’t a bad seat in the house. I think they even have balcony seats

Anyway, the lights went down and they announced Tony Roi. You could hear him singing but the curtain had not opened. Then it opened and he was still singing but not on stage yet. My heart was beating so fast in anticipation, waiting for Tony to come on stage. Then all of sudden there he was, He looked wonderful. He had on his white jumpsuit when he first appeared on stage.

Oh my, he was singing and gyrating those hips. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing. Actually I could believe it because I have seen Tony many times, but each time I see him, his show is better than the last one I saw. His band members are so awesome too. The Angel singers have Angel voices. They are so talented. Its’s my opinion that Tony is the best, so he has the best band and backup singers in the country.

Okay, back to that wonderful voice. He added a new song called “Don’t Walk Away” that he wrote some time back, and I think it is one of the most beautiful songs in his show. I sure hope he puts in on a CD so I could listen to it all the time. Tony always asks the audience if they want to have a picture made with him and he invites everyone on stage .

I didn’t go that day, but I went to his show the next day and I had my picture made with him. He is such a sweet person.. My husband told him that is was my birthday and Tony made my day so special. He had them bring the lights up and asked me to come up to the stage and he gave me a scarf and a kiss. He said” Happy Birthday Baby”.

I thought I would faint right there in front of everyone. He sang our favorite song “American Trilogy” both days that we were there. Tony is so blessed to have such a remarkable talent, but he is so humble about it. He is always so gracious and kind, signing autographs after his show, even though you know he is exhausted.

Tony has such a tender heart and such a loving spirit, and it shows in the way he performs and the way he treats his fans. I know Branson would never be the same if Tony should ever leave, because He is the main reason that we drive to Branson about once a month. If he were not there, Branson would lose it’s appeal for me. I can’t help it, I’m a “Tony Girl”.

For those of you who have never been to Tony’s House at Music City Center, Go see him. Get a Tony Roi experience, You will be glad you did.!!!!
