Tony Roi / Liverpool Legends

TONY ROI...SHOWTIME

Lights, Camera, Action, as the curtain lifts for the Tony Roi, Elvis Experience show your heart is pounding, your toes are tapping and you can barely sit still in your seat waitng for Tony Roi to step out on stage at Music City Centre.

Tony steps out on stage with that nice fitting White jumpsuit and the music begins with his strong voice and will that he puts into each song. Tony is the Best Tribute artist that I have ever seen. There are some others out there but they will never compare to our Tony Roi.

Tony has so much energy with every word that he sings. His voice puts chills through you like no other singer does. Tony is truly a loving caring man and put everything he has into every show.

Every show that Tony puts on is different and that is what makes you want to come back again and again. You can’t get enough of Tony and his music. My last show of his that I was at he sang “Suspicious Minds” I love that song and the way that he sings it he puts so much passion into it. My temperature was starting to rise as Tony started to sing “Burning Love” those are a few of my favorite songs.

Tony interacts with the audience quite well, as he has said before everything goes in Tony’s house that there is no rules and I believe that from what I have seen in his shows. Women will run up to the stage and give them their scarf to wipe his sweat on and then he will place it around there neck with that one thing they are waiting for which is that Kiss. Then Tony will continue his song as if there wasn’t anything going on.

When Tony put together The TR Powerhouse band that was another excellent part of this show. They all interact with each other and everyone is always on que with each other. The solos that Kelly Black does with that Bass Guitar is awesome. The Bass is almost as big as she is and she handles without doubt. Then Gene Puckett is another one that can really get down on the strings. The Angels singers, are a great part of the show with their nice outfits and smiling faces?

The Second half of the show even gets better when he comes out on stage with his newly designed shirts with colors that all look so great on him and those nice leather pants. The new shirts are truly an added look for him. But again it doesn’t matter what Tony has on he still is Good looking, Handsome, Hot man!! With a voice that doesn’t stop.

I am a new Tony Roi Fan and I see what I have been missing all this time before I even know that he exist. Tony is the Best Performer, Singer and has the Best show around in Branson. He truly has been gifted with the voice that he has and the writing of his new songs, which “Don’t Walk Away” & “Back on the Road”.

After the show we know that he is tired but he doesn’t show it by standing there to do Autographs and Pictures and taking his time with each person. That shows how much he cares about his fans and he will stay until the final person has come through the line. I have never seen a performer like Tony Roi to take his time with each individual. Most of them will just end the show and it’s over. But with Tony it’s all about his fans.

I am so glad that I was introduced to Tony Roi. I can’t wait to get back to Branson for another show. Tony Roi for Best Performer, Singer, Show and Greatest Band.

LIVERPOOL LEGENDS/BRANSON CRITIC AWARDS

My husband and I want to vote for who we believe are truly the best Band on the Strip—Liverpool Legends! We attended their show at the Caravelle Theater a few weeks ago and were totally amazed at their wonderful performance. We were young adults during the Beatles era, but were unable to see them perform live except for watching the Ed Sullivan show on a small screen TV. The Liverpool Legends Show made us feel like we were actually seeing the Beatles Live. Their looks, their sound, their musicianship and their on-stage antics were nothing short of perfection. When we closed our eyes, we could easily imagine being at a Beatles Concert and when we opened our eyes, there they were! We have seen many Beatle tribute groups over the years but none that have perfected their true characteristics as well as Liverpool Legends. You can tell they have worked very hard to master their performance.

This is truly a wonderful experience for the audience, both young and old. Everyone seems to know most of the words to all the songs. Looking around at the audience—everyone is smiling and singing along. This is the perfect show for forgetting your problems and just enjoying yourself for at least two hours. The Caravelle Theater is just the right size and there’s not a bad seat. The Band encourages audience participation and loves to have people dancing in the aisles. It’s just a lot of fun for all ages.

We particularly liked the “early Beatles segment” because those are the songs we know the best. “That Boy”, “Yesterday” are favorites and of course, the rousing “Twist & Shout” had everyone standing and dancing. All four of the Band members do such an awesome job and the keyboard player adds the perfect touch as the the fifth Beatle. But our very favorite song is George’s “While My Guitar Gently Sleeps” which was a superb rendition by Marty Scott. That beautiful song always brings tears to my eyes and I’m sure George would be proud to hear this rendition.

Meeting Louise Harrison was a special honor. She is a very gracious and kind lady and she obviously found the perfect group to work with. You can tell she is so proud to be part of Liverpool Legends and that she truly feels that her brother would highly approve of these talented lads. Her Beatle stories during the intermission were extremely interesting and we could listen to her speak for hours. Meeting an immediate relative to one of the Beatles is fascinating. And of course, meeting the Liverpool Legend lads was also a great experience. They are all very friendly and you can tell they truly enjoy meeting everyone in the audience who stayed around when the show was over.

We expect to return to Branson in November and for sure we will be back to see this great show. You can never get tired of hearing Beatles music! Anyone who misses this Show will be losing out on an awesome experience.
